Nabbit

After the Wii came the Wii U, a system that sadly did not see much success for Nintendo financially. Nevertheless, they carried on and an installment of the 2D Platformer series New Super Mario Bros. was released for it. In it, we saw Mario, Luigi, and two Toads journeying to rescue Peach once again, but this time, found themselves frequently having to deal with a sneaky purple rabbit who likes to steal important items, forcing the heroes to chase him down.

This is Nabbit, who would go on to see a playable appearance in the game’s re-release New Super Luigi U, which removed Mario and left open a fourth slot that Nabbit readily took up. His gameplay was a sort of easy mode, with him being nearly invulnerable to all attacks. He would then crop up in adventure games and sports games and RPGs all across the board, though weirdly only a few sparse playable appearances.

As a fighter, he will naturally have one of the highest speed stats in the game, with really strong defense too to make up for his lack of offense. His moves will pull a little from his game of origin but also from his many other appearances, especially his appearance in the RPG titles.

Likelihood rating: Could happen
