Fortune Street was a unique game that brought together the Mario series and Square Enix’s Dragon Quest series together for the first time, to play extreme Monopoly of all things. Most of the stage were fairly basic, set on a course of spaces set high in the air, familiar locations of both series seen in the background behind them.
The Smash stage will mirror those stages. You will fight on a set of four platforms designed after the Fortune Street spaces, floating high in the air. Considering this is the Mario series version of the stage, a Mario location will appear in the background. Two special spaces will be randomly placed each round, and will cause an item to appear when crossed.
