Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, though technically a spinoff of Super Mario 3D World, took a radically different take on level design than previously seen in other games. It placed Toad in a small, self-contained level that he would have to traverse, throwing switches and moving pieces around in order to get to the goal at the end.
The stage representing the game will be set on one of these self-contained levels, mostly based on the first level of the same name. I’d like it to have the camera-turning mechanic in some way so that the stage had four different sides the characters would have to play on, but I’m not certain it could be made to work. Other than that, it would have many of the standard moving parts seen in the game.
