Although it debuted on the same system as its two predecessors, Super Mario Bros. 3 brought with it a brand new engine and design aesthetic, giving the impression of a stage show re-enacting Mario’s adventure, complete with platforms bolted to the background and the goal line being off-stage.
This stage will mimic that aesthetic, with most of the platforms being the large square platforms bolted to the background and a walk-off at the stage’s right that if you turn the game’s camera enough you can see the zig-zag line and the dark off-stage hidden outside of normal view.
