We cannot forget Super Mario Land, the Super Mario series’ first ever handheld game, set in the neighboring kingdom of Sarasa-Land. Although the game’s graphics are limited, we can see that the kingdom pulls inspiration from Ancient Egypt, Easter Island, Atlantis, and China.
The stage based on this game will be the Mario series’ answer to the Game Boy Dreamland level from Smash for the 3DS. It will be set in a world of Game Boy graphics that will move through iconic locales all across Sarasa-Land’s four kingdoms.
