Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle had a unique aesthetic and its own style of gameplay, that made use of a cover system that allowed combatants to hide and snipe opponents from far away. Visually, it combined elements of the Mario world, but warped and combined it with junk and elements of the Rabbids world.
The stage representing the game is based on Ancient Gardens, the first world of the game. The stage will be large-sized, set at the base of the Gardens’ tower and working its way up, giving fighters several levels to fight on with several blocks that can be used as cover and Rabbid pipes that allow for easy access to different areas of the map.
