While the Royal Academy stage existed to represent the RPG elements of the tennis and golf games respectively, this stage will represent the Mario tennis series as a whole, which is arguably the Mario series’ most popular sports spinoff after Mario Kart.
The stage itself will basically just be a standard Mario Tennis tennis court, with a net in the middle that players can bounce on. A Toad referee will sit in a seat behind the net, with stands full of spectators behind him. The stage will randomly generate the texture of the floor each match, giving you a chance of playing on a Grass, Clay, Hard, or Composition field.
