The next star our heroes find is located high in the clouds of Nimbus Land. To get there, the heroes have to travel to Monstro Town, a village built into a cliffside that they then have to ascend. Before they do, however, they hear tales of strange sounds coming from one door in the middle of town. Ever the curious bunch, Mario and his friends enter to find themselves in an endless cosmic void, challenged by a mighty warrior from another dimension seeking any powerful enough to defeat him.
This is Culex, an optional secret boss hidden in the game with heavy inspiration from the Final Fantasy series. He has no bearing on the plot but has become one of the most notoriously difficult boss battles in all of gaming, many gamers making it a challenge for themselves to train their party up and take him on.
Naturally, by the very nature of the character, in-game he will be extremely overpowered, with heavy-hitting attacks and strong defense in the form of his four gems that surround him. His moves, of course, will pull from the boss battle in question. Would he probably get banned? Naturally. But, hey, you gotta have a few just for fun.
