The Origami King was the third in the Paper Mario series to have a greater emphasis on paper gimmicks than story, and I figure there’s no better way to represent the games than by designing stages built around the game’s specific gimmick.
The stage could be set on the wall surrounding the now missing Peach’s castle at the beginning, on the tiny Origami Kingdom in the origami-maker’s workshop, or on King Olly’s Origami Castle that he created. Either way, the arena will have the circular battle arena from the game on the floor, as origami folds and refolds itself around it, forming new platforms regularly. The giant ribbons in the sky will be visible.
