Cast into the castle dungeon by King Olly and a folded Princess Peach, Mario encounters another origami being who claims to be the king’s sister, cast into prison for trying to stop his plans.
This is Olivia, Mario’s companion for this game, filling the role of Kersti and Huey before her. She will provide Mario with the ability to perform the origami-based actions of the game and will frequently get into the action herself by folding herself into the origami beasts they face throughout the game.
She will play nearly identically to her brother, lighter and less powerful due to being uncorrupted by the darkness in Olly’s heart. Her moves with likewise pull from the origami-based moves of the game, differing only where she uses to Origami beasts and he uses his boss battle mechanics.
