Upon reaching the end of the second world, Mario and his companions will reach their second major boss fight and come face to face with a large, three-headed serpent breathing fire.
This is Tryclyde, obviously pulling heavy reference from the Hydra of ancient Greek myth. Although like Mouser, he will not go on to play a prominent role in the Mario series as a whole, he will play a large role in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show! as one of King Koopa’s most prominent minions.
As a fighter, Tryclyde will be a bruiser, large and heavy with lots of strong physical attacks, though a bit lighter than most in his class. His fire breath from the games will be present, but the bulk of his moveset will pull from his appearance in the television series and everything that would entail.
