Character Sheet: Purah & Robbie

PURAH & ROBBIE

Today, we begin the third (and probably last) big character haul of the Zelda series, assuming the Tingle and CDi games, the remakes, the animated series, and the comics don't add in anything too drastic. Our list covers twenty-eight familiar faces, and they are:

1. Linkle

2. The Youth

3. Wild Zelda

4. Wild Impa

5. Twili Midna

6. Lana

7. Darmani

8. Yunobo

9. Mikau

10. Sidon

11. Teba

12. Riju

13. Hestu

14. Epona

15. Tingle

16. Agitha

17. Purah & Robbie

18. Yves

19. Terrako

20. King Rhoam

21. Wild Fairies

22. Monk Maz Koshia

23. Cia

24. Astor

25. Volga

26. Wizzro

27. Manhandla

28. Sooga

Today, we'll cover another set of characters you wouldn't necessarily think would work as fighters. They first appeared in Breath of the Wild as the two leading scientists working on the ancient Sheikah tech, both well into their hundreds, although Purah had the body of a ten year old thanks to an accident. They would both appear prominently in the story mode of Age of Calamity, though not as playable fighters, until their popularity prompted their inclusion in the game's DLC.

Just like in Age of Calamity, they will be a duo fighter, with Robbie as the main fighter, decked out in his big saw contraption, with Purah ducking down behind him and keeping everything working with her Sheikah slate. I suppose we could work in a mechanic here, where if Purah dies, Robbie loses all power to his weapons and their damage output is significantly decreased. Anyway, besides his saws, Robbie can use a shield, a jetpack, a giant hammer, all manner of energy weapons, beams from the four Divine Beasts, bombardment from above, lightning, and the Sheikah towers' warp system. Far more than enough.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Twin Saws

Though the saws will be a major part of the moveset, we will have one here where Robbie brings both of them together and fires them up to rack up damage.

Side B: Giant Hammer

They will summon up a large energy hammer from their Sheikah tech and slam it forward hard, burying anyone stuck right under it and KOing anyone just off center.

Up B: Jetpack OR Shiekah Warp

Either would work. With the jetpack, Purah would remain on the ground, vulnerable to attack until she warps to him upon landing, while with the Sheikah Warp, both would be transported away.

Down B: Energy Shield

Robbie will bring out a large shield and use it to defend himself and Purah. Attacking Purah from the opposite direction will cause the shield's strength to weaken.

Final Smash: Divine Beast Beams

Purah will put in the command for the Four Divine Beasts to fire upon an opponent's location. The four may appear in the distance, but even if they don't, the four beams will come in from all four directions and deal devastating damage to the target.

Entrance: Both with Sheikah warp in from a tower.

Taunts: Up, Robbie will do his air guitar and then point up into the air. Side, Purah will do her little "> over the eye" thing. Down, something on Robbie's tech will spark and break down, and Purah will frantically tap on her slate to fix it.

Thanks for reading! Next up, a random playable Deku Scrub that acted as a hard mode for a certain crossover game.
