Character Sheet: Mikau

MIKAU

Today, we begin the third (and probably last) big character haul of the Zelda series, assuming the Tingle and CDi games, the remakes, the animated series, and the comics don't add in anything too drastic. Our list covers twenty-eight familiar faces, and they are:

Today's should be easy as well. Ruto has moved on to a brand new moveset, and now Mikau, as the only playable Zora in the main games, picks up her old one. Mikau is a musician from the land of Termina and the lover of his band's singer Lulu. When Lulu's children are stolen by pirates, he sets out to rescue them only to fail and die. Link finds his body, and Mikau's spirit entrusts him with his mask to rescue the eggs. Most of the core Zora moveset came from him, so it's only fitting he carries the moves now.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Fin Blades

Literally his main attack move, so of course it stays.

Side B: High Speed Swim

A move spammed by many a player while swimming in Majora's Mask, a perfect fit here too.

Up B: Waterfall

Not something particularly seen from him, though he can at least launch himself from the water and waterfalls are a big part of Zora representation, so . . . 

Down B: Blue Shield

His main line of defense, of course it stays.

Final Smash: Zora Hall Concert

He will strike his guitar. A cutscene will then play of his band performing, showing most of the band members doing their part before Mikau finishes with an epic guitar solo. The final chord will launch everyone standing too close away.

Entrance: He will burst from a puddle onto the ground, or we could have Link put on his face.

Taunts: Up, he will hold his guitar up in the air and belt out a few chords. Side, he will hold his guitar at waist level and practice some notes of his song. Down, Lulu's babies will come out and swim around him.
