TEBA
Today, we begin the third (and probably last) big character haul of the Zelda series, assuming the Tingle and CDi games, the remakes, the animated series, and the comics don't add in anything too drastic. Our list covers twenty-eight familiar faces, and they are:
1. Linkle
2. The Youth
3. Wild Zelda
4. Wild Impa
5. Twili Midna
6. Lana
7. Darmani
8. Yunobo
9. Mikau
10. Sidon
11. Teba
12. Riju
13. Hestu
14. Epona
15. Tingle
16. Agitha
17. Purah & Robbie
18. Yves
19. Terrako
20. King Rhoam
21. Wild Fairies
22. Monk Maz Koshia
23. Cia
24. Astor
25. Volga
26. Wizzro
27. Manhandla
28. Sooga
I have some time here in the middle of the day, so I'm just going to belt it out now. Teba is a descendant of Revali, whose family have been shamed for Revali's failure one hundred years before, and who seeks to redeem his family by bringing Vah Medoh down. He is Link's companion for much of his effort to board Vah Medoh.
Just like the other descendants, he gets himself a full moveset from Age of Calamity, mostly very heavily based around arrows. This includes several different volleys of arrows, aiming using a targeting reticle, firing arrows into the sky to come back down from above, summoning whirlwinds, and performing complex aerial maneuvers.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Targeting Arrow
He will draw back his arrow as a targeting reticle appears over the nearest character. You will be able to change which character the reticle is over with a navigation press before releasing the shot.
Side B: Whirlwind
He will be able to beat his wings rapidly and create a strong whirlwind that will move forward for a short distance.
Up B: Thermal Updraft
Basically just Revali's Gale, but it will use the thermal updrafts from the canyon where he trains instead of simply Revali's champion magic. As such, it will be a bit weaker and not carry him quite as high.
Down B: Sky Volley
He will fire a series of arrows straight up into the air, and they will come back straight down a few feet in front of him.
Final Smash: Vah Medoh
Just like Yunobo and Sidon's, Vah Medoh will fly by in the background, covered in its energy shield, as it bombards the stage with its defenses.
Entrance: He will be sitting on the edge of the stage, tending to his bow.
Taunts: Up, he will cross his arms and turn his beak upward. Side, he will turn his back to the player and looking back with a brooding glare. Down, he will pull out his bow and re-string it.
Thanks for reading! Next up, we have the young queen of the Gerudo and last of the champion's descendants.
