AGITHA
Today, we begin the third (and probably last) big character haul of the Zelda series, assuming the Tingle and CDi games, the remakes, the animated series, and the comics don't add in anything too drastic. Our list covers twenty-eight familiar faces, and they are:
1. Linkle
2. The Youth
3. Wild Zelda
4. Wild Impa
5. Twili Midna
6. Lana
7. Darmani
8. Yunobo
9. Mikau
10. Sidon
11. Teba
12. Riju
13. Hestu
14. Epona
15. Tingle
16. Agitha
17. Purah & Robbie
18. Yves
19. Terrako
20. King Rhoam
21. Wild Fairies
22. Monk Maz Koshia
23. Cia
24. Astor
25. Volga
26. Wizzro
27. Manhandla
28. Sooga
And now, for probably the strangest character included in Hyrule Warriors, we have Agitha from Twilight Princess. Before the game, Agitha was little more than a memorable NPC, an odd little girl from Castle Town who believed herself to be queen of the insects and basically served as the checkpoint for the bug-collecting sidequest, a role that would be covered by other NPCs like Stritch in other games.
Then along came Hyrule Warriors, giving her a full moveset built around the various bugs she liked to collect. This would include a giant butterfly made of light, a spray of smaller butterflies, a tornado of them, the ability to sprout a set of butterfly wings from her own back, and a giant rhinoceros beetle. She also carries around her parasol, with which she can float.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Butterfly Spray
She will swipe with her parasol and a burst of butterflies will appear, flooding outward and doing little pecks of damage.
Side B: Rhinoceros Beetle
She will summon a giant rhinoceros beetle that will first stomp the ground just ahead of her before bucking with its horn and doing heavy damage.
Up B: Butterfly Wings
Her butterfly wings will sprout from her back and carry her upwards through the air.
Down B: Bug Net
She will pull out a net from the games and swipe forward with it. This will act as a shield from projectiles, as it will catch most of them.
Final Smash: Swarm
Agitha will jump up onto the back of her giant butterfly and then sweep around the stage, a large swarm of smaller insects following in her path and racking up lots of damage, before she finishes by divebombing the stage.
Entrance: A group of butterflies will carry her down to the ground.
Taunts: Up, she will spin her parasol and look cute at the camera. Side, she will hold out her hands as one of the bugs appears above them, like she just collected it. Down, she will watch a couple of bugs circle around her feet.
Thanks for reading! Next up, the scientists from Breath of the Wild working together as a duo.
