QUEEN BEAN
I don't really know why this character is here, outside of "I had a feeling." Queen Bean is the mother of Prince Peasley and ruler of the Beanbean Kingdom in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Like her son, she is turned monstrous by Cackletta and Fawful, and thus acts as a boss battle, before being cured and acting as an ally through the rest of the game. There's not much to work with, as her battle features her pounding the ground to cause a shockwave and her spitting out a bean that will become a Beanie if it hits a player. Outside of that, she tends to hop up and down to cause earthquakes, and she is cured specifically by Chuckola cola. Then there's the Beanstar itself, and . . . you know what, what do I know?
I guess my answer is . . .
YES
Here is the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Bean
She will belch up a bean that will bounce across the stage. If it strikes an opponent, it will become a Beanie and roam the stage for a short time.
Side B: Ground Pound
She will raise her fists into the air and slam them down on the ground, creating a slight shockwave effect.
Up B: Bounce
She will bounce up and down, causing earthquakes if over ground.
Down B: Chuckola Cola
She will drink some Chuckola Cola, start to laugh, and restore a portion of her health.
Final Smash: Beanstar
The Beanstar will rise, she will speak to it, it will become angry at her "impure voice," and then slam into the stage, sending everyone flying.
Entrance: She will land hard, punching the ground.
Taunts: Up, she will raise into the air and come back down hard. Side, she will give off a full belly laugh. Down, she will hold up her muscular arms and one of them will go flat.
Kirby Hat: Her crown and purple hair.
Kart: A kart shaped like the Beanstar.
Special Move: She will be able to rise into the air momentarily and slam back down, causing those around her to spin out.
Spirit Battle: On Beanbean Kingdom, with Prince Peasley.
Victory Screen: She will toss out one of her opponents, wrapped up like a present.
Losing Screen: She will pass out on the ground, looking sick.
Color Swaps: Her normal look, her muscular look, her muscular look with one arm flat, her muscular look with both arms flat, her royal outfit from the final scene with all previously listed variations.
Thanks for reading! Next up, a character that won't necessarily be an echo, but there is at least no reason why they and Lord Crump couldn't have co-existed on the same roster.
