BOULDERGEIST

After finishing up in the Honeyhive Galaxy, Mario continued on his journey across dozens of worlds across the universe. Eventually, he would come to the Ghostly Galaxy, a Mario Galaxy-style take on the typical Haunted House level. As he journeys across it, he comes across a unique boss in the form of a ghost constructing a body out of rocks.

This is Bouldergeist, a mostly one-off boss who would appear here as well as in the second game, where a special challenge came in the form of a boss rush full of bosses from the first game, Bouldergeist among them. Not much else beyond that, but he is remembered as a distinctly unique boss.

As a fighter, Bouldergeist will be large and slow, with a high level of defense just like most other bosses, though he will have specific points of vulnerability. His moveset will pull from those abilities seen in his boss battles.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.
