KING NEPTUNE
After rescuing the Mermushroom, she tells them that Barra-Koopa invaded her kingdom and captured their king. We then cut to a scene in Aqua Land's capitol, where Koopa is holding said king hostage.
This is King Neptune, named so after the Roman god of the sea, a name that tends to recur in a lot of various underwater-based media. This version is more of a chill hippie-type, spout phrases like "chill" and "go with the flow" whenever Koopa threatens him.
As a fighter, he and Mermushroom will be echoes of each other, Neptune likely being much more powerful but slower than Mermushroom. His moves will pull from the same movepool as hers.
Likelihood rating: Non-game.
