CLASSIC MODE
I’m not sure one is really needed here. Though I suppose
each of the smaller individual series could each have their own that represents
all their major, or at least mainline, games. Here’s what that might look like
for, say, the Mario series.
1.
Super Mario Bros.: Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad
on Mushroom Kingdom
2.
Super Mario Bros. 2: Wart, Birdo, and Shy Guy on
Subcon
3.
Super Mario Bros. 3: The seven Koopalings on
Mushroom Kingdom 3
4.
Super Mario World: Mario and Yoshi on Dinosaur
Land
5.
Super Mario 64: King Bob-Omb and a Lakitu on
Bob-Omb Battlefield
6.
Super Mario Sunshine: FLUDD Mario, Bowser Jr.,
and Petey Piranha on Delfino Plaza
7.
Super Mario Galaxy (Probably 1 and 2): Rosalina
and Luma on Comet Observatory
8.
Super Mario Odyssey: Cappy, Pauline, and the
Broodals on New Donk City
9.
Finale: A boss fight with a giant Bowser on
Bowser’s Castle, possibly in Omega form
