Finally, Smooth Moves did not give Dr. Crygor a set of microgames of his own, but instead set him as a rival in an inventing competition against his own granddaughter, a spunky young girl with big dreams of becoming an inventor in her own right someday.
This is Penny, Dr. Crygor’s granddaughter and aspiring singer-scientist. She would appear regularly in all subsequent Wario Ware games, she and her grandfather helping devise the D.I.Y. system with so many of Wario’s other developers having quit, and later coming in clutch as the hero of Get It Together, complete with her own theme song.
As a fighter, she will be similar in nature to her grandfather, but not quite an echo. Her moveset will pull from some of her grandfather’s inventions, but also several of her own seen throughout the games.
