The first two Wario Land games followed Wario’s rivalry with the pirate queen Captain Syrup, whose crew was holed up at their hideout on Kitchen Isle, their ship, the S.S. Teacup docked in the bay.
The stage will take place on the Teacup as it sails around the island. The layout will match the Teacup’s design, differing it from other ship-based stages like Gangplank Galleon. In the background, players will be able to see numerous familiar locations of Wario Land.
