Character Sheet: Kid Dynamo

KID DYNAMO

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). Kid Dynamo: fly, catch, whirlwind, spin, dog sidekick

Today, let's go over Kid Dynamo from the Donkey Kong Jr. episode "Junior Meets Kid Dynamo." Kid Dynamo, or Ricky, is a ten-year-old boy endowed with superpowers at the moment of his birth by the dust of a meteor passing over his head. His family's dog Lightning was also granted heightened intelligence by the same meteor, and he acted as Ricky's sidekick and mentor as they grew. In the episode, Ricky demonstrates super speed and strength, the ability to fly, the ability to whip up whirlwinds, and the ability to spin like a drill. Interaction with red meteor dust deprives him of his powers while blue meteor dust restores them.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Whirlwind

First up, we'll have Ricky perform his whirlwind attack, creating a small whirlwind that will catch opponents inside it and fling them up into the air.

Side B: Drill Spin

Ricky will spin himself like a drill at superfast speed, flying forward and drilling into any opponent in his way.

Up B: Flight

A bit more basic, but Ricky will fly upwards, being able to glide back down afterwards.

Down B: Lightning

His faithful pal Lightning will jump out, biting onto opponents and clinging onto them with all of his might.

Final Smash: Blue Meteor

Ricky will be exposed to blue meteor dust, which will give his powers a temporary boost that he will use to rush around at supersonic speeds, doing heavy damage to anyone he encounters.

Entrance: He will fly in, fixing his towel cape around his neck.

Taunts: Up, he and Lightning will fly up and high-five. Side, he will adjust the towel around his neck. Down, he will rake up some leaves from his backyard.

Thanks for reading! Now, let's cover his nemesis, Dr. Demise!
