Character Sheet: TV Koopalings

TV KOOPALINGS

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). But, there are so many that are so distinct from their game counterparts, I could only make a brand new slot for them. They are:

With the Super Mario Bros. Super Show! changing to match up to Super Mario Bros. 3 came the Koopalings, but not exactly the Koopalings as we know them. Rather than the canon game names of Ludwig, Lemmy, Roy, Iggy, Wendy, Morton, and Larry, the Koopalings of the series go by Kooky, Hip, Bully, Hop, Kootie Pie, Big Mouth, and Cheatsy. Most of them also received an overhaul in both design and characterization, with Kooky being a big more "mad scientist" than Ludwig, Hip and Hop being the youngest and twins, Cheatsy having an actual defined character trait of being a bit of a conniving backstabber, and Big Mouth being so far removed from Morton, he's barely recognizable.

Now, across the seven siblings, we a number of skills on display. Many of them use a magic wand, Cheatsy invents a device to pull things from his television and sets a lot of booby traps, Big Mouth blows a tornado from his mouth, Kootie Pie throws several tantrums and uses her scarf to wrap things up, Bully uses nunchaku and throws garbage around, Hip and Hop ride on a ball, and Kooky just might be the most versatile among them, often being the brains behind several machines his father uses. These include a time travel machine, a rain machine, a machine to make someone dumb, a spray to make someone nice, a machine to raise things up, and goop.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Tantrum

Based mostly on Kootie Pie, though maybe getting some of Bully's trash in there, the Koopaling will appear furious and throw a random object (generally an object that would appear in Kootie Pie's room or some garbage) as a projectile. Depending on what it is will affect the damage done.

Side B: Tornado Breath

This one's for Big Mouth. The Koopaling will breathe in and blow out a tornado of breath that will blow his or her opponents away.

Up B: Koopa Doopa Raiser-Upper

This is based on the device built by Kooky. The device will appear over the character's head, fire and raise them up into the air and carry them for some distance.

Down B: Invention

This more or less combines the various devices built by both Kooky and Cheatsy across the series. The character will pull out a remote-looking invention and fire it, and it will have a number of random effects (probably around five) mostly based on the inventions of the series.

Final Smash: The Doomship

It seems the most obvious choice for them. The Game Koopalings have the airships, the TV Koopalings have the Doomship. It will fly through, firing off its cannons at the stage. I expect there will be a Doomship stage (it's the most obvious choice to represent the second season), so I guess we'd just have another Doomship appear and attack the first. That probably makes sense.

Entrance: They will fall out of one of those sky pipes in the second season.

Taunts: Up, the Koopaling will dance around and laugh. Side, they will rub their hands together sneakily like Cheatsy would. Down, they will lay down on their belly and throw a tantrum like Kootie Pie.

Thanks for reading! Now, we cover the last of the main recurring characters in this section with the wizard Wizenheimer!
