Character Sheet: Robo Koopa

ROBO KOOPA

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). One of the most memorable alter egos of King Koopa, from one of the most memorable episodes, was the episode "Robo Koopa"'s titular Robo Koopa. Parodying various shows such as Transformers and Super Sentai, the episode featured Bowser having built himself a mech suit, forcing the Mario brothers to build one of their own and fight him. In the episode, we see him fire the show's version of Bullet Bills, release bombs from the suit's toe, create a cage of lasers, stomp around, fire a fist from its chest, and fly around with a rocket pack. Certainly enough for me.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Chest Fist

One of his main offensive maneuvers, it seems only right to include it here. His chest panel will open up and a large fist will fire outward as a projectile.

Side B: Laser Cage

He will use his suit's laser array to create a cage around a select opponent and trap them inside. Trying to move around and touch the walls will deal damage.

Up B: Rocket Pack

His rocketpack will fire up and let him fly into the air to recover.

Down B: Toe Bomb

His robotic toe will open up and release a bomb that will roll forward for a short time before exploding.

Final Smash: Bullet Bill Barrage

Robo Koopa will fly to the foreground, at which point he will proceed to fire Bullet Bills as they appear in the show at the stage.

Entrance: He will burst from the floor.

Taunts: Up, he will raise his fist into the air and proclaim the age of robots. Side, he will fiddle with some of his programming. Down, he will toss a laser cage in his hand.

Thanks for reading! Next up, the TV versions of the Koopalings: Kooky, Bully, Kootie Pie, Big Mouth, Cheatsy, and Hip and Hop!
