Character Sheet: Bunsen

BUNSEN

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). But, there are so many that are so distinct from their game counterparts, I could only make a brand new slot for them. They are:

Next up is Bunsen, the robotic assistant of Dr. Nerdnik from the episode "Robo Koopa," the same episode that Robo Koopa appears in. Koopa takes her creator captive and forces him to build his robot suit, leading to her joining forces with Mario and his friends to take him down, eventually supplying them with the Plumbinator suit. In the episode, she is shown with extendable arms that she can use to hack into computer systems and perform all sorts of engineering work, she can also produce drills from her chest. I'd say it's also fair to include everything the Plumbinator does, including a plunger sword, a flyswatter, and the ability to shoot eggs.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Drill

Her chest will open up to reveal a spinning automated drill that will damage anyone who got too close to her.

Side B: Extend-o-Arm

She will send her arm extending forward, her fingers extending as well. Anything it connects with, her fingers will mess with, causing them to start glitching out as if she just messed with their programming. (Should provide some fodder for MatPat and other theorists, I imagine)

Up B: Rockets

Naturally, I think it only makes sense for her to use the rockets used by the Plumbinator and Robo Koopa to take off into the air.

Down B: Flyswatter

In what I hope was a reference to Mario Paint (though I'm pretty sure the episode predates it by a few years), she will produce a flyswatter from her chest just like the Plumbinator does and smack a character out of the air with it.

Final Smash: Plumbinator

Mario and Luigi already have it going on, but really, what else would be more fitting for her to use than the partial product of her own hands.

Entrance: She will pop up from the manhole she appears from in the episode.

Taunts: Up, she will hold up a device and fiddle with it, her fingers extending. Side, Dr. Nerdnik will appear and adjust some of her joints. Down, she will crouch down low, compressing herself slightly.

Thanks for reading! Next up is the mighty Hercufleas!
