Character Sheet: Dr. Demise

DR. DEMISE

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). But, there are so many that are so distinct from their game counterparts, I could only make a brand new slot for them. They are:

Today, we cover the nemesis of Kid Dynamo, the evil mad scientist Dr. Demise. The mad doctor, alongside a henchman, continually cross paths with their pre-teen foe as they attempt to pull off various heists. In the episode, he makes use of a helicopter, trapdoors, a blowtorch, his own henchman's muscle, and dust from the meteor that created Kid Dynamo, taking the hero's powers for a short time. It's not much, but certainly enough.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Meteor Dust

First up, he will blow a cloud of red meteor dust from his hand across an enemy. Rather than simply taking Kid Dynamo's power though, I imagine it would have some similar effect on any player, maybe just disorienting them for a few seconds.

Side B: Henchman

His big beefy henchman will appear beside him and punch with a massive fist. This also serves at least a little to represent all of those bad guy duos from the Supercade series who didn't quite stand out enough to make it in on their own.

Up B: Helicopter

His personal helicopter will appear above him with a small ladder dangling from it. He will grab hold and it will carry him upward.

Down B: Trapdoor

He will press a button and a trap door will appear a short distance in front of him. If on a solid platform, an opponent will be buried. If on a pass-through, the character will drop through to the platform below.

Final Smash: Helicopter Heist

Whereas before he just used the helicopter for a getaway, this move will let him use the helicopter more personally the way he would to pull off a heist. He will pilot the helicopter to buzz the stage, doing damage to anything hit by the blades, while a mechanical arm trails behind, snagging one opponent and carrying them off the stage to their death.

Entrance: He will crash in his plane.

Taunts: Up, evil laugh, what else? Side, he will study a piece of meteor in a capsule. Down, he will look angrily at his henchmen, who will look apologetic.

Thanks for reading! Now, for the final Supercade character, the Gorilla Ghost!
