Character Sheet: Hercufleas

HERCUFLEAS

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). Today, let's cover the mighty Hercufleas from the episode "The Fire of Hercufleas." A parody of Hercules obviously, he is an old friend of Toad and former mighty hero, who has since let himself go and taken up a job as the security guard for the legendary "great balls of fire." When the fire is stolen by King Koopa, Toad and the other heroes help him get back into shape in order to fight Koopa and take back the fire. Across the episode, we see the hero launch fireballs from the "great balls of fire," including one big massive one, swing around a giant pillar, throw a plate of marshmallows to block the top of the urn his fire is kept in, and perform a number of standard exercises, including jogging, chin ups, and jumping jacks, sometimes with humorous consequences.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Fireballs

Using the urn containing the Great Balls of Fire, he will draw three small flames from it and launch them forward as projectiles, as seen in the episode.

Side B: Pillar

This one will certainly have some range. He will use his mighty strength to pull a pillar from the ground and swing it around like a club, smashing it into opponents.

Up B: Jumping Jacks

Coming from his workout regiment, he will perform a jumping jack, small at first, but enough to shake the ground with his weight and send him higher on his next jump.

Down B: Marshmallow Trap

Hercufleas will grab a plate of marshmallows and throw it out on the ground. Despite the probably lack of fire, the marshmallows will quickly get sticky, forming a trap for anyone who stumbles into it.

Final Smash: Great Balls of Fire

This time, he will use the full power of his ward, summoning all the fire from the urn into one big massive fireball and launching it at the stage.

Entrance: He will work himself up from his easy chair surrounded by donuts.

Taunts: Up, he will perform a chin-up and get winded for a second. Side, he will perform a pose like in his old statues. Down, he will eat a donut from a box he pulls out.

Thanks for reading! Next up is Mario and Luigi's plumbing hero, Salvador Drainaro!
