The Ultimate Legend of Zelda Adventure Mode

THE ULTIMATE LEGEND OF ZELDA ADVENTURE MODE

We see the four Ganondorfs brought together by Demise, floating endlessly in darkness. Flashes of the events of the previous story modes play, especially Demise’s explanation of how he had simply been using them as puppets to one day serve his own resurrection. The four’s brows furrow one by one as their anger builds, manifesting as malice and calamity. Their eyes open, burning a fiery red, as they say in one voice that they refuse to be mere puppets to anyone. The power bursts from them reaching throughout time and space, seeking out all variants of themselves, most notably finding the Ganon from the Link to the Past and original game timeline, and bringing them all together.

We then get repeat shots of them capturing all the various Zeldas, their dark magic overpowering all of them and sealing them inside crystals, using their combined magic to bring all eras and universes of Hyrule together. This ends up looking similar to Hyrule Warriors, when Cia opened up worlds of the past, with select regions of the map containing the worlds of the five different rosters as we left them. You are then left open to pick where to start between the five locations.

2D ZELDA

You return to the 2D heroes, led by the Links of the original game, Link to the Past, Minish Cap, and Spirit Tracks. This will play more like a Hyrule Warriors game than a standard Zelda game, with your armies fighting back against the forces summoned by the Ganons. Ganon of Link to the Past acts as the boss of this world.

3D ZELDA

This one starts you will the 3D heroes, led by Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Hyrule Warriors, and Skyward Sword Links, all in the same general playstyle as the 2D World. Ganondorf of Ocarina of Time acts as the boss here.

TINGLE

This one returns you to Tingle and his crew, with Toon Ganondorf from Wind Waker acting as the boss.

BREATH OF THE WILD

This one returns you to both Breath of the Wild Links and their companions, with Twilight Princess Ganondorf becoming Beast Ganon as the boss.

ZELDA MULTIMEDIA

This one stars Riruto and the four Links he gathered as allies, and their companions, with Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf as the boss.

You can play any of these in any order, defeating the boss of each allowing your heroes to break out of their zone and approach the dark castle in the center. Whichever order you complete them in, you will get a cutscene of the crew you just used encountering the previously finished crews just before the castle.

FINAL BATTLE

The heroes come together from all across time and the multiverse, the various Links (and Riruto) using the power of their Master Swords to break through the barrier around it and storm the castle. Rather than standard enemies, you work through a boss rush of every variant of Ganon or Ganondorf throughout the series as well as shadow recreations of every other major villain, leading to a duel with the five main Ganons one more time.

Upon their defeat, the Ganons will collapse, their physical forms finally breaking up into nothing, and they are left as nothing but pure malice and anger, swirling and forming into the shape of Calamity Ganon before the Zeldas break free from their crystals, combining their magic to seal Ganon’s new form far below Hyrule, hopefully for all time. With him sealed, their combined world starts to break apart and the heroes bid farewell to each other and start to run back to their respective worlds. Before they can, the cracking sky opens up above them and Master Hand appears, pulling them all up into the sky as the Hyrules break apart completely.
