No, this is not a demand from Mama Midoriya. Deku Scrubs are a difficult one to place, as they started out in Ocarina of Time as enemies, but then in Majora's Mask, became one of the main ally races, and have since apparently disappeared altogether for the most part. Either way, you get to play as one, and that tends to basically clinch it for most characters.

In Ocarina, Deku Scrubs tended to act as a land-based Octorok, hiding out in plants and popping their heads out to shoot rocks at you, while also acting as secret merchants from time to time. When Link is transformed into a Deku Scrub in Majora's Mask, he gains a full set of abilities from there, including being able to launch himself from a flower and then fly with a pair of spinning flowers, shoot bubbles, pick up and throw Deku Nuts, perform a spin dance to cross bodies of water, and he had a set of pipes to play music on.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Bubble Blast

Could be rocks for their original appearance, but I like the bubbles Link blows better. Either way, projectile.

Side B: Spin Dance

The Scrub will dance forward like Link was able to do, giving him the ability to cross hazardous areas and dealing a small amount of damage.

Up B: Flower Launch

The Scrub will hop into a launching flower and be launched into the air, pulling out its spinning flowers to drift for a bit.

Down B: Burrow

Naturally, their most basic ability should be here. The Scrub will burrow into the ground for a short time, protecting it from harm. If Standard B is pressed while in this state, the Scrub will pop its head out and shoot a rock.

Final Smash: The King's Fury

The Scrub will strike an opponent. The opponent will then enter a cutscene where they are strapped to a stake as the Deku Scrub king orders his soldiers to light it on fire.

Entrance: The Scrub will poke its head up out of the ground.

Taunts: Up, the Scrub will pull out its pipes and play for a second. Side, the Scrub will spin in place with a flower out. Down, the Scrub will heft a couple bags of money.

Thanks for reading! Next up, I guess Piranha Plant made this one possible.

We've had our barbarians, our spellcasters, our swordsmen, and so many others, but what series is ever really complete without their spooky ghost enemy type? For the Legend of Zelda series, that ghost is the Poe, aptly named after a certain renowned horror author, Poes first appeared in Link to the Past but did not truly become a major player until Ocarina of Time, where they were known to haunt graveyards, were the main focus of a major sidequest, and four of them haunted the Forest Temple.

Across Ocarina and all of their subsequent appearances, Poes were known to disappear, carry lanterns with which they could throw flames or spin. They could haunt paintings and puzzle blocks, create illusions and curse their enemies. In Wind Waker, a whole bunch of them could combine into the boss Jalhalla, and in Twilight Princess, they wielded a scythe and could create blue fire.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Ghostly Flame

They will swing out with their lantern and toss a ball of fire that will burn an opponent, or linger for a second on the stage as a hazard.

Side B: Lantern Spin

The scythe is also an option, but that one works well for their standard moves. This will be based more on Ocarina with them spinning forward, their lantern acting as a bludgeoning weapon.

Up B: Vanish

The Poe will spin upwards and disappear, reappearing higher up in the air.

Down B: Painting Illusion

Three paintings will appear on the stage a short distance from each other. The Poe will then vanish into it. Players can attack the paintings but only one of them will hold the actual Poe.

Final Smash: Jalhalla

The Poe will summon in a bunch of its friends, and they will combine into Jalhalla, bouncing around the stage and spewing flames.

Entrance: They will spin into existence just like in Ocarina.

Taunts: Up, the Poe will hold its lantern up and look around. Side, it will swing around its scythe for a moment. Down, it will conduct a short symphony for a second, just like in Majora's Mask.

Thanks for reading! The Deku Scrubs, including the young scrub Link could become.

Wizzrobes have been a part of the Zelda series from the very beginning, as the "spellcaster" archetype. Generally, they are mysterious hooded figures that like to teleport from place to place and cast spells at fighters. In Wind Waker, they were apparently magical toucans. And if you know I love Kamek, you know I've got a soft spot for the cunning spellcasters, so I definitely wasn't going to let these guys fall by the wayside.

Now, sadly, Wizzrobes don't have too much in the way of variety, as their standard MO is literally just teleport - spell - teleport - spell, but we do get a few deviances here and there, first off, we see them cast spells of fire, ice, and lightning, and we see them cast fireballs that create waves. They also will strike with their staffs when needed, and they can summon allies to themselves. It's minimal, but enough.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Fire Spell

This one is their standard projectile attack, throwing a fireball that hits with explosive force.

Side B: Ice Spell

Another projectile spell, but this time freezing their opponents in place for a short time.

Up B: Teleportation

They will teleport away, probably somewhere between Majora's and Wind Waker's portrayals of it.

Down B: Summon Ally

They will perform the spell cast in Wind Waker, summoning probably either Stalchildren or Miniblins to attack for them.

Final Smash: Coven of Wizzrobes

This is based on a number of the situations they will be found in throughout their games. Multiple Wizzrobes will appear, all casting various spells and generally making life difficult for those trapped in their webs.

Entrance: They will teleport in the way they do.

Taunts: Up, the Wizzrobe will raise its staff into the air and whip up magic with it. Side, the Wizzrobe will dance around the way they do. Down, the Wizzrobe will disappear into one of the little squares from Majora's Mask.

Thanks for reading! Next up, we'll be haunted by the Poes.

63.   Ancient Guardian

Today, we will cover King Bulblin, who is either the echo for Bulblins or the Bulblins are the echo for him. Doesn't matter that much to me, so . . . King Bulblin is a recurring boss from Twilight Princess, the leader of the Bulblins and commander of Zant's forces. He led the kidnapping of Ordon Village's children and faces off with Link in one of the most iconic battles of the game, a jousting match atop the Bridge of Eldin. In the end, he concedes to Link, revealing a Klingon-esque mentality of "I serve the strongest side." As most of the Bulblin's moveset came from both character's shown moves, that's about all there is to say here.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Fire Arrow

Could be the spear he ties Colin too, I suppose, but it still works either way.

Side B: Javelin Charge

Very much an obvious inclusion, with Lord Bulbo's pronounced horns posing an additional danger.

Up B: Swine Leap

Yeah, basically the same, probably heavier though.

Down B: Axe Smash OR Switch

Same, using the axe this time OR switching between his own two feet and Lord Bulbo. Maybe the axe could take over his Standard B?

Final Smash: Abduction

Probably fine to keep it the same. He did lead that attack.

Entrance: He will ride in on Lord Bulbo and grunt at his opponent.

Taunts: Up, he will make Lord Bulbo buck up on its hind legs. Side, he will grunt at his opponent menacingly. Down, he will pick up an unconscious NPC as if abducting them.

Thanks for reading! Next up, another one of my favorite enemy types, Wizzrobes!
