Today, we'll be covering the Mogmas, a race of mole people that inhabited the Eldin province way back during the Skyward Sword era long before the Gorons made it their permanent home, meaning, I guess, that they died out before the eras of all the later games (unless they developed into something else, but considering the Gorons already exist in their era, I can't imagine what).

Mogmas spent most of their time in game half-burrowed in the ground, but you do get to see them out on their feet at select moments, and for gameplay reasons, I assume they would be mostly out in this hypothetical game too. As such, burrowing is a massive part of their moves and abilities, with two types of mitts that let you dig into the ground and let you burrow through the ground as well. Steam vents that carry you up into the air are a massive part of the region they are found in, and rolling bomb flowers are a staple used to take out enemies hiding in burrows. I'd say that's more than enough.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Bomb Roll

The Mogma will roll a bomb along the ground just like Link would, with a brief moment to let you target it before rolling it.

Side B: Burrow

So, you know how in MultiVersus Bugs Bunny can dig a tunnel and then his companions can use it too. I'd like it to be something like that. (To be honest, the co-op elements of that game are really something Smash should incorporate into their own games, but that's a conversation for another time.)

Up B: Steam Vent

A steam vent will open up under the Mogma's feet, and it will launch into the air with the use of a sailcloth.

Down B: Dig

The Mogma will use the Mole Mitts to dig into the ground at its feet, leaving a trap for anyone who passes over the spot to become buried.

Final Smash: Eldin Volcano

Eldin Volcano will appear in the background of the stage and start to erupt, raining fire and ash down on the players, similar to Darunia's (If I remember right).

Entrance: The Mogma will dig up from under the stage.

Taunts: Up, the Mogma will sniff the air for a few seconds. Side, the Mogma will cross its arms and look around skeptically. Down, the Mogma will burrow into the ground with its feet sticking up for a second.

Thanks for reading! Next up, the ancient robots from the Lanayru region!
