Today, let's cover the . . . initial main villain of Twilight Princess, Zant. Zant starts out as a mysterious individual, the ruler of the Twilight Realm who had overthrown the true ruler and then set in motion an invasion of the real world. He is eventually revealed to be an erratic, childlike being who had yearned for power, selling his soul to the sealed Ganondorf in exchange for it (Making him practically the quintessential example of the trope "Hijacked by Ganon).

Despite his ultimately becoming only the secondary villain of the game, he still does quite a bit during his appearances and boss battles. These include telekinesis, teleportation, casting waves of light and balls of red energy, wielding the sword of Twilight, summoning giant versions of his own head, creating portals, throwing shadow balls, spinning around really fast with swords out, flying, summoning giant hands and swarms of bats, growing large and stomping, and, of course, creating zones of twilight around Hyrule itself.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Shadow Ball

He will raise his arms into the air, charge up a ball of dark energy while floating a little upwards, and then throw the ball at the ground below him.

Side B: Spinning Blades

He will go into one of his rapid, erratic spins, his swords slashing up everything in his path, his movements hard to predict.

Up B: Teleportation

He will jump into the air, spin, and disappear into twilight, reappearing through a portal higher up.

Down B: Zant Head

He will summon one of his large heads, which will stay in place, fire off a couple of orbs, disappear, then reappear and repeat the process twice while Zant moves around on his own. He cannot summon a second while it is active.

Final Smash: Twilight Realm

He will summon the Twilight Realm over the stage, trapping everyone inside it. The fighters will be reduced to mere spirits or animals, while Twilight Beasts rise and attack.

Entrance: He will start out doing his bend over backwards, spin, and stomp thing.

Taunts: Up, he will bend over backwards while twisting himself. Side, he will put on his more stoic, early airs. Down, he will stomp up and down as if throwing a tantrum.

Thanks for reading! Next up, the fabulous spirit of the Demon King's sword, Ghirahim.
