The Lanayru region of Skyward Sword is probably one of my favorite level concepts of all time, a long barren desert that was once a lush jungle and ocean, inhabited by a race of industrious robots who spent their time mining for timeshift stones, stones Link could use to create an area of effect that returned the region to its former state from centuries before, allowing Link to jump between the present and the past with the mere strike of his sword.

Now, Scrapper is probably the most prominent member of the species, so he probably could take the first slot, but I don't personally like Scrapper and would rather just represent the species as a whole. But you all can do you, whatever that may be. Obviously their timeshift stones could present interesting gameplay potential. They also have digging claws that let them mine, propellers that let them fly, boats and minecarts using their technology, cannons attached to said boats, orbs that cause time shifts, and they can generally upgrade items using their technological know-how.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Mining Claws

The robot will pull out its mining claws and slash forward twice, dealing heavy damage with them.

Side B: Minecart

Given their technological propensity, they will combine some tech for an improved attack. A minecart will appear under them, with a track running along the full length of their current platform (keeping them from falling off). The minecart will be equipped with a cannon that the robot can fire any direction for as long as the minecart persists.

Up B: Propellers

Naturally, Scrapper's propellers that he uses to carry things around will pop out of the robot's head, allowing the robot to fly up into the air for a while.

Down B: Timeshift Orb

The robot will toss out a timeshift orb that will create an area of effect around itself. The timeshift orb will transform any fighter that enters its area into an 8-bit version of themselves, limited only to running and jumping. The orb can be kicked around or picked up and moved, allowing for some possible strategy.

Final Smash: Timeshift Stone

A large timeshift stone will appear in the middle of the stage, activating and turning everything except the robot into 8-bit versions, all unable to perform any action except run and jump, giving the robot a short time to deal as much damage as it pleases.

Entrance: It will start as broken down remains, before a timeshift restores it to full capacity.

Taunts: Up, It will activate and control a small drone. Side, it will look over a set of blueprints. Down, it will shut down as if going to sleep.

Thanks for reading! Next up, a race of familiar helpful monkeys!
