Today, we cover the a particularly . . . unique version of Link appearing in Twilight Princess. When pursuing his captured friends, Link gets pulled into the twilight realm. However, instead of becoming a mere spirit like most other Hylians, Link instead undergoes a transformation into a wolf, granting him new abilities and limitations different from his normal form.

His abilities as shown in the game include the ability to dig a small tunnel, bite enemies (even ripping their hearts out in the case of Poes), carrying around a stick as a torch, howling to make things happen, and flying by way of a Kargarok carrying him. Midna also rides around on his back, allowing him to warp, grab items, and jump long distances, though most of that also belongs to Midna, so we'll go easy there. And finally, he has a rage attack wherein he can create a field around himself and then instantly attack everyone in the field.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Rage

He will create a field around himself which will last as long as you hold down the button. Anyone within that field when let go will be instantly attacked.

Side B: Poe's Heart

He will leap onto an opponent, knocking them to the ground and ripping what looks like a Poe's heart out of their chest, dealing heavy damage.

Up B: Kargarok

A Kargarok will pick him off of the ground and carry him up a short distance.

Down B: Burrow

He will dig into the ground for a second. Anyone who passes over the spot where he dug will be instantly buried. (Although Bugs' move in Multiversus might be an option too. I want to see how that really functions first)

Final Smash: Twilight Realm

A bubble of twilight will cover the stage, turning all opponents into immobile spirits while inside. Wolf Link will then leap from fighter to fighter, tearing out their soul and sending the opponent flying.

Entrance: He will warp in like in the game.

Taunts: Up, he will howl at the moon. Side, a phantom Midna will appear on his back and pat him on the sides. Down, he will sniff the ground for a minute.

Thanks for reading! Next up, another alt of Link also appearing in Twilight Princess!
