Today, let's cover Revali, at least as well as we can. He is the champion of Vah Medoh, an arrogant warrior who believes himself the superior choice for the princess's chosen protector, and so develops a rivalry with Link. He will probably be the least like his predecessor so far, as much of their unique abilities do not correlate.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Pinpoint Aiming
He will pull out his bow and draw it back, causing a cursor to appear in front of it. Once he lets it go, it will strike with heavy force.
Side B: Cyclone
Well . . . at least we have Windblight Ganon to go off of. That's something at least. He will beat his wings and whip up a small tornado to swirl forward.
Up B: Revali's Gale
It will function much like Revali's Gale in the game, blowing him very high into the air.
Down B: Medli's Song
For now, I guess we'll keep this one, as it at least connects him back to his predecessor.
Final Smash: Vah Medoh
Vah Medoh will swoop over the stage, landing on its perch and then firing its laser just like the other divine beasts.
Entrance: He will rocket onto the stage with a gust of wind.
Taunts: Up, he will brush back his head feathers arrogantly. Side, he will swipe sideways with his wing, saying something about how this was clearly no matchup. Down, he will bow respectfully, much as he does when saved by Link.
Thanks for reading! Next up, we cover the last of these "sage" types: Makar of the Koroks.
