Character Sheet: Gibdo

GIBDO

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

Gibdos are the standard "mummy" enemy of the Zelda series. They have appeared in several games over the series, all with a generally standard appearance. In Ocarina/Majora, they were basically reskins of the ReDead enemy, while in Tears of the Kingdom, they were part bug for some reason. Either way, throughout their various appearances, they have now compiled a solid moveset.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Scream

The Gibdo will let out the debilitating scream that they and the ReDeads of Ocarina and Majora were known for, freezing characters in their tracks.

Side B: Grapple

They will launch forward and wrap themselves around an opponent, dealing damage and not letting go.

Up B: Insect Wings

Their wings from Tears of the Kingdom will burst out of their backs, and they will be able to fly upward for a short distance.

Down B: Sandstorm

As they can in such games as Hyrule Warriors, the Gibdo will create a swirl of sand around itself, protecting them and whipping around characters standing too close.

Final Smash: Queen Gibdo

Might as well embrace the bug (after all, if Darknuts can be jackals and Wizzrobes can be toucans . . . ). The queen from Tears of the Kingdom will appear on the stage and attack.

Entrance: It will rise from the sand.

Taunts: Up, it will lean back and let out its scream. Side, it will stumble forward for a second and look around. Down, it will sink into quicksand for a second.

Kirby Hat: Its bandages.

Kart: Based on typical "Sand Temple" designs.

Special Move: It will create a swirl of sand around itself to protect from harm.

Spirit Battle: A horde battle on Gerudo Valley.

Victory Screen: More and more of it will rise from the sand and march upon the defeated players.

Losing Screen: It will slump to the ground and return to the sand.

Color Swaps: The original game, Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Ocarina/Majora, Twilight Princess, Four Swords, Minish Cap, and Tears of the Kingdom.

Thanks for reading! Next up, ReDead lurks in the shadows.

Character Sheet: Zonai Construct

ZONAI CONSTRUCT

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

Now, Zonai constructs are robotic enemies unique to Tears of the Kingdom that come in multiple variations, including Stewards and Warriors. While they are shown using a number of weapons just like Link can, I think the best way to go with this is to give them full use of the Zonai devices. This includes: the fan, wing, cart, balloon, rocket, time bomb, portable pot, flame emitter, frost emitter, shock emitter, beam emitter, hydrant, steering stick, big wheel, small wheel, sled, battery, big battery, spring, cannon, stabilizer, hover stone, light, stake, mirror, homing cart, and construct head. There is, for sure, way more than enough.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Emitter

The construct will pull out one of the four emitters and fire off a stream of its element.

Side B: Fan

The construct will pull out a fan, which will blow a strong gust across the stage, blowing opponents back.

Up B: Rocket

The construct will attach a rocket to its back and launch itself into the stratosphere.

Down B: Cart

The player will hop into a cart, or wing if in the air when pressed, then drive it forward to slam into an opponent.

Final Smash: War Machine

Clearly based on the immediate creative fun the collective internet had with the game the moment it came out, the construct will assemble a giant mech/tank/Korok torture device that will rampage across the stage.

Entrance: It will assemble from parts.

Taunts: Up, it will raise its head and spin around. Side, it will manipulate a steering stick for a second. Down, it will plug a battery into itself.

Kirby Hat: Its face as a mask.

Kart: Based on a wing.

Special Move: I think it would be fun if it pulled up a random select of Zonai devices, each of which helped in different ways.

Spirit Battle: A horde battle on Great Sky Island.

Victory Screen: It will raise up and wave bye-bye.

Losing Screen: It will fall apart into pieces.

Color Swaps: All major construct variations.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Gibdo rises from the sand.

Character Sheet: Sonia

SONIA

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

As for Sonia, she displayed similar magic to Rauru, including Recall. It's uncertain if she could do all that he could do, but I think there's enough justification there for her to be an echo to her husband.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Ultrahand

Same. Maybe a bit less lift on it.

Side B: Fuse

She would likely have less bluntly offensive weapons, using more elegant or helpful weapons and tools.

Up B: Ascend

I imagine she'd fly higher.

Down B: Recall

She will be much more proficient and effective at this one.

Final Smash: The White Dragon

Zelda's white dragon form will come barreling through the stage in her defense.

Entrance: She will appear out of a beam of light.

Taunts: Up, she will create a ball of light in her hands and set it free. Side, she will enjoy a cup of tea. Down, she will use recall on some spilled tea.

Kirby Hat: Her hair.

Kart: Based on the Zelda dragon.

Special Move: I really should have given her the recall ability. Okay, so that's what we will do, and Rauru will instead use Ultrahand to stick an opponent to the road beneath them for a few seconds.

Spirit Battle: Herself and Rauru on Great Sky Island.

Victory Screen: She and Rauru will appear together, and they will nod to the player.

Losing Screen: She will fall in the same way she did in her death scene.

Color Swaps: All appearances to match her husband's skins.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Zonai Construct charges into battle.

Character Sheet: Rauru

RAURU

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

Next up, we have Rauru, the ancient king of Hyrule and leader of the Zonai people. He was the one who sealed Ganondorf away, and it is his hand that takes the place of Link's missing one. His moveset is a fairly easy movepool to work with, as it is literally through him that Link can use all of his new Zonai abilities, those being Fuse, Ultrahand, Ascend, Recall, and Autobuild. I have plenty to work with there.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Ultrahand

A first press of it will shoot forward a beam that will let you pick up an opponent, a second press when the opponent is against something else will let you seal them to it for a short time (Think of it like every opponent is a Korok).

Side B: Fuse

It would probably be too complicated for this to let you fuse any two items into a bigger one, so in lieu of that, let's say it gives you three common fusions (say the rock hammer, the targeting arrow, and the fire rod) and cycles between the three.

Up B: Ascend

You can fly straight up and even pass through solid objects, letting you recover even when under the stage.

Down B: Recall

This will act as a counter of sorts, with you using it on oncoming projectiles, sending them back the way they came as projectiles against their user.

Final Smash: Sealing the Darkness

Now, while I'd love to make it be an autobuild of one of the many, many creative giant mechs players have created in the game, we have others that can take that up. Instead, we will have him launch forward against an opponent, place his hand against their chest, and seal them in place for a thousand years.

Entrance: He will appear out of a beam of light.

Taunts: Up, he will look to the sky and stroke his beard. Side, he will hold out his hand and flex it for a second. Down, he will drop something, then recall it.

Kirby Hat: His ears and hair.

Kart: A kart built through Ultrahand.

Special Move: He will use Recall on another racer, sending them back the way they came from a short distance. (That is evil, but I love it)

Spirit Battle: Himself and Sonia on Great Sky Island.

Victory Screen: He and Sonia will appear together, and they will nod to the player.

Losing Screen: He will stumble, say he failed, and break apart into glowing runes.

Color Swaps: His normal appearance, a green ghostly appearance, a version based on Zelda, Gorons, Ritos, Gerudo, and Zoras, and one that bears a distinct resemblance to his Ocarina of Time namesake.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Queen Sonia turns back time.

Character Sheet: Purah

PURAH

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

Today, we'll be changing things up. If you remember, Purah & Robbie had been its own moveset, based upon their duo appearance in Age of Calamity. Now, in that version, Robbie had been more or less the main fighter, using a pair of mechanical sawblade arms and such for his attacks, while Purah snuck around behind him, activating things with a Sheikah Slate. Considering Purah's expanded role in Tears of the Kingdom, acting now as the chief scientist helping Link and creator of the Purah Pad and several other new gameplay elements, I think it's fair to split her off to her own moveset, leaving Robbie to operate his sawblades more or less alone.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Camera Flash

She will snap a picture with her Purah Pad, stunning anyone caught by the flash.

Side B: Robot Arms

Robotic arms like those that appear in the Skyview Towers, will emerge around an opponent, grabbing them by the arms and holding them in place for a second.

Up B: Skyview Launchpad

A launchpad like those under the Skyview Towers will appear under her feet and launch her sky high with a tether attached to her belly.

Down B: Scanner

She will hold out her Purah Pad and scan for things. The scanning beam will pull random loose items toward her for easier pickup.

Final Smash: Failed Experiment

She will trap a character in a machine that she activates, saying she has achieved immortality. After a sudden explosion, the character will appear in their "youngest/earliest" form (Mario as 8-bit), before being launched away.

Entrance: She will stumble out of a smoking lab and realize the fighters are there.

Taunts: All of her different "poses." Up, will be Breath of the Wild's cutesy two fingers on each hand thing. Side, will be the V alongside the eye from Age of Calamity. Down, she will adjust her eyewear and clasp her fan like she does in Tears of the Kingdom.

Kirby Hat: Her hair and glasses.

Kart: A vehicle based on Sheikah tech.

Special Move: She can scan upcoming item boxes and see what's inside them.

Spirit Battle: Herself on Great Sky Island.

Victory Screen: Something will explode, and she will stumble out, saying that turned out better than she thought.

Losing Screen: After a burst of smoke, she will find herself a child again.

Color Swaps: Tears version, Calamity version, Wild version, a black stealth version for all three, and then a more green rustic version for the first two.

Thanks for reading! Next up, King Rauru seals the darkness.

Character Sheet: Mineru

MINERU

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

Mineru is a new character and the Zonai sage who aids Link in his quest. She is first introduced as the sister of King Rauru, a wise master of the magical arts who explains concepts relating to time travel, light magic, and the forbidden dragon transformation ritual. She personally has the ability to separate her soul from her body, which allows her to linger all the way to Link's era, where she builds a new body for herself out of Zonai parts.

Mineru has a lot of options at her disposal. As a magic user, we see her separate her soul from her body, while as a Zonai mech, she can wield a number of weapons, such as a pair of maces, electric prods, a shield, and fans. I think there's plenty we can do here.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Twin Maces

She will produce the mace attachments for the ends of her arms, slamming them down before her hard.

Side B: Electric Prods

She will start up her prods and zap an opponent with them, stunning them in place for a moment.

Up B: Spirit Projection

This will function in much the same way Toon Zelda's does, with Mineru's spirit bursting from the mech body and leaving it behind, only for it to reform when she lands.

Down B: Spirit Warrior

Since it's a common thing not quite yet represented among the sages, Mineru will project a green holographic image of herself that can run around and help fight on its own, separate from her.

Final Smash: The Ancient Sages

Mineru and the other four sages of the past will all stand together with their masks on, running forward and blasting an opponent with a burst of light.

Entrance: The robot body will emerge from its casket.

Taunts: Up, she will stand up straight, letting the mech cool down. Side, she will strike a couple of poses with the body. Down, the body will collapse, leaving her spirit form to stretch for a minute.

Kirby Hat: Her big ears and mask.

Kart: A vehicle version of her mech.

Special Move: She will project a holographic racer that will race alongside her.

Spirit Battle: Herself on The Depths.

Victory Screen: She will let go of her body and nod to you in spirit form.

Losing Screen: We will see her being swallowed up by malice.

Color Swaps: The main robot body, one with blue lights, one with red lights, one with yellow lights, one with pink lights, one without lights, one with white lights, and the Seized Construct.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Purah conducts an experiment.

Character Sheet: Tulin

TULIN

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

We'll start with Tulin. First appearing in Breath of the Wild as an NPC and the young son of Teba, Tulin steps up in the sequel, taking his father's place as a champion and the sage of wind, inheriting the will of the Rito sage that once served under Rauru. He does much the same as his father does, flying and firing arrows with his bow, and also has a power of his own, where he blows a strong gust of wind at Link's back, helping him to fly further than he would have normally. Overall, I'd say he works well as a semi-clone of his father.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Arrow Shot

Not quite as powerful or targeted as his fathers, it will function as a solid projectile nonetheless.

Side B: Tulin's Gust

He will blow a blast of strong wind with his wings forward, knocking anyone caught in it back.

Up B: Thermal Updraft

Same as his father's, except he will fly higher due to his lighter weight.

Down B: Sky Volley

Similar to his father's, except there will be fewer arrows, and they won't hit as hard.

Final Smash: Vow of Tulin

He will hold up his tear, which will glow, projecting his predecessor behind him, and they will fly together and deliver a devastating strike.

Entrance: He will fly in and land.

Taunts: Up, he will raise his bow and cheer. Side, he will do his best to strike an intimidating pose. Down, he will stumble and look embarrassed.

Kirby Hat: his feathers and beak, Falco-style

Kart: Based on the Stormwind Ark

Special Move: He will blow a gust behind him that blows him forward.

Spirit Battle: Himself and Teba on Great Sky Island, with strong wind.

Victory Screen: He will stand with his tear glowing and his predecessor behind him.

Losing Screen: We will see him frozen with Rito village snowed in behind him.

Color Swaps: His standard TOTK appearance, his standard BOTW appearance, a version with the blue champion sash, a version wearing his predecessor's mask, one based on Teba, one based on Revali, one based on his mom, and one based on Kass.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Mineru honors her vow.

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

LEGEND OF ZELDA: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM

And now, we finally come to the loooooong awaited sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This time, we follow Link and Zelda as they explore the caverns underneath the castle, investigating some strange occurrences. There they find the sealed corpse of Ganondorf, kept trapped by a strange hand, before the Master Sword's presence awakens him and he unleashes powerful magic on the world, sending Zelda back in time, destroying the Master Sword, and causing huge chunks of land to rise into the sky.

As per usual, your main character is Link, bringing with him many of the mechanics seen in BOTW, such as picking up various weapons that will break after a while (swords, axes, bows, and so on), climbing cliffs, using a paraglider, riding a horse, and so on. Instead of Sheikah Slate runes, though, he bares the arm of Rauru, an ancient king who Zelda befriended in the past. Through Rauru's magic, Link can use special new abilities, including the ability to fuse items together into new weapons, the Ultrahand ability which functionally allows him to do the same but on a bigger scale to make vehicles and such (YouTube will provide you plenty of evidence of ways this can and has been abused). He can also Ascend, passing straight through solid ceilings to get higher, and he can Recall, sending an object in motion back along its past path. Later you also get an Autobuild ability to assemble specific vehicles through Ultrahand without having to put it together piece by piece anymore.

In the past, Zelda makes friends with Rauru and his queen Sonia, both powerful magic users. There, she witnesses the events that led up to Ganondorf's rise, including the death of Queen Sonia and Rauru sacrificing himself to seal Ganondorf away. Ultimately (Major spoilers ahead!), Zelda would swallow her magical gemstone, transforming herself into one of the immortal dragons that fly around Hyrule, losing herself but allowing herself to live long enough to deliver the restored Master Sword to Link in the present.

Another set of important central characters are the five sages Link gathers, mostly pulled from the four champions of the previous games. This includes Tulin, Teba's young son, who can fly, uses a bow like his father, and blows a massive gust of wing to blow Link forward. Yunobo returns, rolling around, briefly becoming a drug kingpin (don't ask), and acting as a cannonball Link can shoot forward. Sidon also returns, shown able to purify most bodies of water, wields a trident, and can swim fast enough to create a whirlpool. Riju wields a lightning blade and can summon a wave of lighting. Finally, we have Mineru, Rauru's sister, who can separate her spirit from her body, and attaches it to a construct in the modern day, which wields a mace, shock emitters, a shield, a fan to fly with, and multiple other attachments.

From there, most of our supporting Sheikah return, including Impa, Purah, and Robbie, Purah especially playing an important role, having re-aged herself up to an adult body and becoming very popular online. Paya also returns, as well as a new scientist named Josha. Teba returns as well, having retired from service as Champion, and Sidon now has a fiancée named Yona. Hestu and the Koroks return, as well as most of the notable NPCs of the first game, all having moved forward in their lives in various ways.

Ganondorf is, of course, our main villain. Most of his battle is pretty standard for a Ganondorf battle, so I don't think we'll be doing a "Wild Ganondorf" with most of the unique stuff attached to him being just Calamity Ganon stuff all over again. He can fire a dark blast, fight with a sword, summon shadows of himself or other enemies, and uses Malice. At the end, he transforms himself into a dragon as well. Master Kohga and the Yiga Clan also return, with Master Kohga's battles involve him fighting you in a car, jet, boat, and mech he constructed mimicking your Ultrahand techniques.

As for our bosses, we had Colgera, a giant flying Molgera made of ice that summoned the blizzard around the Rito Village; the Marbled Gohma, a giant Gohma responsible for the Marbled Rock Roasts around Death Mountain; Mucktorok, an Octorok spewing the gunk polluting the Zora's waters; and Queen Gibdo. Gibdos are bugs now, by the way. Who knew? We also have a construct seized by Ganondorf's power, and a Phantom Ganon that rises out of the Gloom Hand enemies, which fights with a sword, creates duplicates, and warps around.

As for our enemies, we have multiple returning from Breath of the Wild, including Chuchus, Bokoblins, Keese, Lizalfos, Lynels, Moblins, Octoroks, Wizzrobes, Taluses, and Hinoxes all returning, more or less functioning the same as you remember them. From there, we also have larger Boss Bokoblins (isn't that literally just what Moblins are supposed to be?), Horriblins who crawl around in caves, Bubbulfrogs, Aerocudas, and Like Likes, which now can spit various forms of elemental attacks, but I still don't think they're there yet. Gibdos play a central role in the Gerudo storyline, crawling from sand, latching onto players, and now flying with bug wings. Gleeoks return as brand new bosses, flying, sweeping with their tails, using ice, fire, and water attacks, and all having big massive finisher attacks. And then we have the Constructs, Zonai machines that come in various forms, but I'd like to most focus on their usage of Zonai devices, all the things Link can use when he Ultrahands.

A lot of the Hyrule map does return from the original game, except with several key differences such as Zonai Shrines replacing Sheikah Shrines, huge floating islands appearing in the sky, including Great Sky Island where you start the game, and a whole underworld area to explore as well. We also get major dungeons attached to our sages, including the Legendary Stormwind Ark (Wind Temple), the Great Wellspring of Hyrule (Water Temple), Lost Gorondia (Fire Temple), the Mural's Myth (Lightning Temple), the Vessel of Spirit's Resting Place (Spirit Temple), Gloom's Lair, and Hyrule Castle itself.

And that's about it! Here's what we've got so far:

Characters:

Link

Zelda: dragon

Rauru: Fuse, Ultrahand, Ascend, Recall, Autobuild

Sonia: Echo of Rauru?

Tulin: fly, bow, gust of wind

Super Mario RPG

SUPER MARIO RPG

And now, let's finish things off with a new release as of yesterday, a full 3D remake of Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars. All of the fun characters and quirkiness of the original game return, with most of their movesets still intact, which is nice for me. They also have full 3D models, so I could updated their character cards someday if I really wanted to, but that won't be today. Even Culex got a 3D model, despite his initial battle still rendering him as the old 2D sprite, and the 3D version only showing up in his rematch (gotta respect the troll move there). Largely most of the changes seem to be quality of life improvements, certain things being streamlined, and so on. The characters all get "Triple Finish" moves, which are super moves that change depending on which three party members are out and who's performing it. Also some of the characters get name changes to line up more accurately with the standard Mario names.

That's really about it. So, we're done for now. I had hoped to finish a couple of days before the weekend and then start up our Zelda return on Monday, but clearly that didn't work out. Can I start up on Wednesday? That would be great.

Glitch World

GLITCH WORLD

Wario Ware: Get It Together saw Wario and his team working on a brand-new game to compete with Pyoro’s recent release, only for a glitch to suck them all in and trap them in the game’s virtual world.

This game will take place on a set of platforms with the flat, glitchy landscape of the game’s code behind it. Throughout the fight, the stage will change intermittently to one of the microgames from this one, with the characters able to move around and affect it just like in the game.

Potential theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9z61glRdlU

Caresaway Island Tour

CARESAWAY ISLAND TOUR

Wario Ware: Move It! sees Wario and his crew of developers all go on a vacation to a tropical island. At two points in the game, half the crew is launched onto a touring vehicle (boat and bus respectively), as the framing device for the remix levels.

This stage will take place on these two, starting out on the bus as it speeds around the island before it flies off a pier and ends up floating down the river, both trips showing most of the island’s locales in the background.

Potential theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B53TZSVJkcg

Flower Kingdom

FLOWER KINGDOM

In 2023, Super Mario Bros. Wonder came along and changed the game for 2D Mario platformers by . . . injecting LSD straight into the game’s code. The game takes place in the Flower Kingdom, home to talking flowers, the trippy world-altering Wonder flowers, and other strange never-before-seen creatures.

The stage itself won’t be anything special, just a set of platforms with the Wonder game’s aesthetic. Talking flowers will hang out at different areas of the stage and comment when someone passes them. Then, on occasion, a Wonder Flower will appear, causing one of eight effects: 1) the pipes on the stage will start moving around, 2) a Piranha Plant musical will take place, 3) a stampede of bulrushes will flood the stage, 4) the stage will turn dark and all characters will become long, 5) a giant hoppo starts bouncing around the stage, 6) the players all turn into Wubbas, 7) the stage turns into a free-fall section, and 8) Castle Bowser appears in the background.

Potential theme: Strictly speaking, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFi-E4q0Ulg; but also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qIw_NtZX98

Wooster

WOOSTER

One comic featuring the Mushroom King saw him throwing a temper tantrum over his food being wrong and firing his faithful butler.

This is Wooster, yet another character who helps rein in the king’s childish nature. Even when fired, he puts his services to good use by getting himself employed by King Koopa and actively sabotaging the villain. He would recur in most comics that the king himself appeared.

As a fighter, he will be an echo of the TV version of Toad as they both serve the same role for the king and princess respectively and exist in the same continuity.

Likelihood rating: Non-game.

Leo

LEO

In the game Wario Ware: Get It Together!, Kat and Ana’s game saw them arrive in a small village where a bunch of animals were getting into mischief. After knocking out one of the animals, they found a young ninja controlling it.

This is Leo, a new antagonist and rival for Kat and Ana, who would appear again in Move It! He can transform into animals and puppet them, using them to cause trouble for the sisters.

As a fighter, he will be incredibly fast and will have a selection of animals he can use to fight from a distance. His moveset will pull from his two major appearance.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.

13-Amp

13-AMP

Over in 18-Volt’s personal story, he finds that one of his friends had his 3DS stolen. He finds the girl that stole it, and challenges her to a rap battle to get it back.

This is 13-Amp. After getting beaten, she develops a friendship with 18-Volt and reappears in his story in Get It Together, before joining the team of developers when they visit Caresaway Island in Move It!

As a fighter, she will be more or less a clone of 18-Volt, just adjusted slightly to have more of a musical focus. She won’t be quite as strong as 18-Volt, with more a focus on defense and speed.

Likelihood rating: Probably not.

Allegra

ALLEGRA

In Sparks of Hope’s second DLC pack, our heroes encounter Melodic Gardens, a jungle full of instruments in a similar vein to stages like Music Park, conquered by a rogue Spark Hunter named Kanya. Along the way, they also cross paths with a Rabbid warrior wielding a tuning fork as a spear.

This is Allegra, the guardian of the Melodic Gardens and the friend of Dorrie, the friendly Plesiosaur who had been taken hostage by Kanya.

As a fighter, Allegra will be quick and agile, using a number of instrument and music based attacks for her moveset.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.

Spark Hunters

SPARK HUNTERS

After Mario and his companions set off to stop the Darkmess from spreading, they encounter various worlds affected by the mess, each one with one of four evil Rabbids lurking and hunting down the world’s Sparks.

These are the Spark Hunters: Midnite, Bedrock, Daphne, and, introduced through DLC, Kanya. They act as the main bosses of Sparks of Hope, each one attacking with ghostly powers, super strength, control over plants, or a giant Mecha King Bob-Omb respectively.

As fighters, they will be generally fast and strong, their movesets a combination of their four specific concepts.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.

The Phantom

THE PHANTOM

After defeating Rabbid Kong, our heroes work their way through Sherbert Desert, a combination of tundra and desert, and Spooky Trails, a horror-themed world. As they work through Spooky Trails, they look into a mystery surrounding someone named Tom Phan.

At the end of the level, they find a Rabbid being combined with a Boo toy and a Phonograph to become Tom Phan’s real identity, the Phantom. This bombastic opera singer belts out fierce roasts written by the legend Grant Kirkhope himself, and would return in the DLC for Kingdom Battle’s sequel.

As a fighter, the Phantom would have a heavy focus on defense, like most of his ghostly fellows. His moveset would pull from both of his major battles as well as the sets and costumes he uses throughout his appearances.

Likelihood rating: Probably not.

Elephant Mario

ELEPHANT MARIO

As our heroes greet Prince Florian, Bowser shows up to crash the party. Touching a Wonder Flower and not knowing what it does, he finds himself merged with Florian’s castle and his own Klown Kar, becoming a giant flying castle spreading darkness all over the kingdom. Mario and his friends race off to stop him, and soon encounter their first new powerup: an apple with a nose like an elephant.

This is the Elephant Fruit, a fruit that transforms the player into an elephant. Not just an elephant suit, like we’re used to, but a full transformation into an anthropomorphic elephant. This powerup makes them heavy and powerful, with trunks that knock away opponents and carry water.

As a fighter, each of the major Elephant transformations will be represented as color swaps, their moveset pulling from the elephant power’s moves and a few other moves from the game. They will be strong and heavy, and just a little slow.

Likelihood rating: Piranha Plant clause.

Poplin

POPLIN

Serving under Prince Florian are small creatures that look like Toad, but with closed-up flowers that look like turbans instead of his mushroom.

These are the Poplins, the primary inhabitants of the Flower Kingdom. They appear throughout the game, typically giving you aid in the central hub world, or being imprisoned by Bowser’s new Wonder Flower powers.

As fighters, the Poplins will be a bit middling, with slightly weaker strength and higher speed, similar to their counterparts. Their moveset will pull from all the unique gimmicks found throughout the game and Flower Kingdom.

Likelihood rating: Probably not.

Prince Florian

PRINCE FLORIAN

After a long series of 2D Mario platformers that all felt just a little too same-y, in 2023, Nintendo released a brand-new platformer that completely changed the game, introducing a cartoony new artstyle, and multiple different features that changed up play in a number of chaotic ways, including the Wonder Flower that caused a strange effect on the stage for a time and badges the players could attach to their character that let them move around just a little bit differently. The story saw Mario and his friends going to visit the Flower Kingdom.

The Flower Kingdom is ruled by a small caterpillar named Prince Florian. He would act as the Mario characters’ primary companion throughout the game, using his special crown to activate the badges used in the game.

As a fighter, Florian will be fast and small, able to avoid most attacks that come his way. His moveset will pull almost entirely from the badges that he makes use of.

Likelihood rating: Piranha Plant clause.

Character Sheet: Wooster

WOOSTER

So, I just wanted to give a third chance real quick to the character of Wooster, the Mushroom King's steward from the Nintendo Comics System. I guess I never made the connection before, but he and TV Toad do seem to exist in the same continuity, and both serve the same basic role for the princess and king respectively, so I realized there wasn't really any good reason why they couldn't be echoes, especially as TV Toad has no currently existing echo. So here it is:

Standard B: Fire Flower

Once again, having the growth effect.

Side B: Toad Warrior

Using more of a royal carriage this time.

Up B: Parachute Hat

The same.

Down B: Snowboard

Using a serving tray instead.

Final Smash: Cloud Nine

Here we will differ, instead giving him a move based on a trap that the King fell into in one comic by laying on a mattress made of clouds and falling straight to sleep while being carried into the sky.

Entrance: Presenting a meal on a platter.

Taunts: Up, he will hold up a platter and reveal food. Side, he will look a little exasperated by the king's nonsense. Down, he will bow graciously.

Kirby Hat: His mushroom top.

Kart: Based on the king's royal carriage.

Special Move: He will toss out what seems to be a helpful item, only for it to be a fake.

Spirit Battle: On Pasta Land, with the Mushroom King.

Victory Screen: He will look pleased with himself and say "all according to plan."

Losing Screen: He will come flying out of a room, while the voice of the king throws a temper tantrum inside of it.

Color Swaps: Wooster, and then seven other character models for the comic version of the Mushroom People.

Thanks for reading! Next up, a few character cards are now in order.

Character Sheet: Leo

LEO

And now, with the release of Wario Ware: Move It! we gain three newcomers. However, since Cicada did originate as a Rhythm Heaven character, and only appeared briefly here, I have chosen to follow one side of the responses I received, and will be treating her as a guest character for now, leaving us with:

1. 13-Amp

2. Leo

Leo is a newer antagonist for Kat and Ana, appearing in Get It Together before returning in Move It! The twins first encounter him when he uses a special puppetry technique to take control of all the animals in a village and use them to terrorize it. Later, he steals some of their food, runs off with it, and ends up getting swallowed by Cractus. He can transform himself fully or partially into an animal, especially a pair of lion claws. He can also control other animals like puppets, disappear in a puff of smoke, and run at super speed.

Here's his moveset:

Standard B: Lion's Paw

His hands will change into lion paws, and he will slash at his opponents.

Side B: Super Speed

He will rush forward fast, smacking into opponents and automatically picking up items he passes.

Up B: Disappear

He will crouch and disappear in a puff of smoke, reappearing much higher.

Down B: Puppetry

One of the animals he controls will appear and attack a player for him.

Final Smash: Cractus

He will find himself swallowed by Cractus, who will then proceed to attack the stage with its vines.

Entrance: He will appear in a puff of smoke.

Taunts: Up, he will take up a ninja pose. Side, he will transform into a lion and dance for a second. Down, he will recline and enjoy a sundae.

Kirby Hat: His bushy hair.

Kart: Based on his lion form.

Special Move: Puppeted animals will move around him, randomly smacking into other vehicles.

Spirit Battle: On Glitch World, Kat and Ana supporting the player.

Victory Screen: He will look smug as a bunch of animals stand behind him.

Losing Screen: He will scream and try to get out of Cractus's mouth as he is dragged away.

Color Swaps: His normal outfit and hair, one designed to look like Kat, another like Ana, Young Cricket, Master Mantis, Cicada, black ninja garb, and white ninja garb.

Thanks for reading! Next up, I think I'm going to go ahead with it, and declare characters "open to third chances, but only on rare occasions." So, Wooster performs his duty!

Character Sheet: 13-Amp

13-AMP

And now, with the release of Wario Ware: Move It! we gain three newcomers. However, since Cicada did originate as a Rhythm Heaven character, and only appeared briefly here, I have chosen to follow one side of the responses I received, and will be treating her as a guest character for now, leaving us with:

1. 13-Amp

2. Leo

13-Amp originated in Wario Ware Gold as a new rival/friend for 18-Volt, competing against him in a rap battle and having a heavy musical focus. She would return in Get It Together, and even be treated as a developer in Move It! (despite still only being a supporting character in 9-Volt's story). As none of the "Volts" were echoes for each other, I think it works just fine for her to be an echo or semi-clone of 18-Volt, and so, she will be.

Here's her moveset:

Standard B: Boom Box

Probably with a much higher output to it.

Side B: DJ Record

To go along with the throwing disk from his hair, 13-Amp will use a record from a DJ's table to do the same.

Up B: Jetpack

Probably won't work as well as his would.

Down B: Amiibo

Hers will be all music-based. We'll have characters like Barbara from Daigasso, the Chorus Kids, characters from Rhythm Heaven, the band from Wii Music, and Donkey Kong playing bongos.

Final Smash: Rock Concert

She will become the DJ at a concert, with lights blaring around and people dancing, the music coming to a head and launching the player.

Entrance: She will come on with her boom box while rocking out to tunes.

Taunts: Up, she will throw her hands in the air in the "Rock On!" hand gesture. Side, she will work a DJ stand for a second. Down, she will play with a DS for a second.

Kirby Hat: Her hat

Kart: Based on a DJ stand

Special Move: Her kart will start playing music and getting boosts from the beat.

Spirit Battle: On Nintendo Classics, with 18-Volt.

Victory Screen: She will be rocking out to an amazing party.

Losing Screen: She will be slumped on a street corner, looking amazed.

Color Swaps: Her purple hat, a green hat, a red hat, a yellow hat, a black and red hat, a blue hat, a brown hat, a white hat.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Leo runs wild!

Wario Ware: Move It!

WARIO WARE: MOVE IT!

Wario Ware just dropped a new game, in the middle of quite a few releases all probably part of the preparations for the 2023 holiday season. This time, the games take full advantage of the motion controls attached to the joycons, as opposed to Get It Together's gimmick of having the characters be playable cursors. This game features Wario winning an island vacation for him and nineteen friends, naturally meaning his developers tagged along.

The developers included Mona, Lulu, Doctor Crygor, Penny Crygor, Mike, Orbulon, Ashley, Red, Kat, Ana, Young Cricket, Master Mantis, Jimmy T., Dribble, Spitz, 9-Volt, 18-Volt, 5-Volt, and 13-Amp. Each one was taught special techniques using the "form stones" (joycons) for their minigames, which functionally just meant holding the controllers in specific ways. Outside of those, Mona went scuba diving to meet a mermaid and ended up saving Lulu from getting eaten by a fish. Dr. Crygor, Penny, and Mike traveled back in time with Crygor's "time obliterator" and inspired a caveman to draw cave paintings.

Orbulon lost his memory and got worshipped as a god for a while, while Ashley built sandcastles and Red got shrunk, requiring Ashley to try to grow him back to normal with magic, but not quite getting the spell right a few times. Kat and Ana's rival Leo returned from Get It Together, this time stealing their food and running off into the jungle only to get eaten by Cractus, a returning Wario Land 4 boss. Young Cricket and Master Mantis faced off against a pack of musclebound penguins who challenged them to a battle, only for the leader to be revealed to be Cicada, Young Cricket's partner from Rhythm Heaven Fever, crossing over to the Wario Ware series to join in the fun.

Jimmy T. went surfing, just chill as always. Dribble and Spitz now have a floating taxi boat that they accidentally got involved in a boat race, and 9-Volt, 18-Volt, 5-Volt, and 13-Amp all got roped into what seemed to be a haunted house but turned out to be a video game arcade.

The whole game takes place on Caresaway Island, with some notable locations including a volcano that became cursed and a tour boat and tour bus that acted as the big remix levels after you'd worked through the character sets.

Anyway, here's what we've got for possible new stuff:

Characters:

13-Amp: possible echo/semi-clone for 18-Volt. He doesn't have one, so . . .

Leo: dash, claws, animal control, Cractus (should revisit his scenes from GIT)

Cicada: belly slide, palm thrust, leap away, Rhythm Heaven stuff

Stages:

Caresaway Island

Bosses:

Cractus

Thanks for reading! Next up, 13-Amp drops the beat! (Hey, I like that. I should start doing Splash Banner style intros from now on)

Character Sheet: The Phantom

THE PHANTOM

And now, we have six brand-new characters to add in to the Mario rosters, including those from the Mario + Rabbids DLC and Super Mario Wonder. They are:

1. Elephant Mario

2. Prince Florian

3. Allegra

4. Poplin

5. Spark Hunters (split from Edge)

6. The Phantom

What do you get when you merge a Rabbid, a Boo toy, and a phonograph? You get a fantastically memorable boss from the second world of Kingdom Battle, who returned as the main villain of the third DLC wave for Sparks of Hope, where he roped Rayman, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Mario into performing in his show. Throughout his battles, he can become invulnerable to damage when under a spotlight, teleport to new locations, and release a sonic blast from his mouth. For a while that was it that I was willing to use, but his various sets from his shows kept being a prominent aspect, so we can work with some of that too.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Sonic Blast

He will reach an operatic high note and blast it forward as a projectile attack.

Side B: Special Effects

He will act like he's driving a kart, while strong wind blows behind him, knocking back anyone too close. Set pieces will move around him.

Up B: Disappear

He will vanish in a bright light, then reappear somewhere else.

Down B: Spotlight

A spotlight will light up underneath him, making him impervious to attack for as long as he doesn't move from it.

Final Smash: Opera of Roasts

He will sing a loud bombastic song insulting all of his opponents. Once it is over, the character will go flying from his "sick burns."

Entrance: He will rise in the spotlight, performing an opening note.

Taunts: Up, he will spin upward with a flourish. Side, his crew will move set pieces around him. Down, he will perform some vocal warmups.

Kirby Hats: His powdered wig and ears.

Kart: He will be in the position he's in when mocking Mario's kart races, but he won't have an actual kart.

Special Item: A spotlight will appear, making him immune to damage.

Spirit Battle: On Kingdom Battle's Omega form, with spotlights and the lights dimmed.

Victory Screen: He will take his final bow as roses are tossed at the stage.

Losing Screen: He will perform a big dramatic death scene.

Color Swaps: His normal appearance, a red coat, a black coat with a mask, a green coat, a white admiral's coat, a pirate outfit, a black tux and red sash, a masquerade ball outfit.

Thanks for reading! Now, we have another new game that just recently dropped to deal with.

Character Sheet: Spark Hunters

SPARK HUNTERS

And now, we have six brand-new characters to add in to the Mario rosters, including those from the Mario + Rabbids DLC and Super Mario Wonder. They are:

1. Elephant Mario

2. Prince Florian

3. Allegra

4. Poplin

5. Spark Hunters (split from Edge)

6. The Phantom

Next up, with the introduction of Kanya, we now have five Spark Hunters, including the former Edge. With Edge acting as a hero and the other four all being villains, I thought it was fair to create a split between them, with them acting as echoes or semi-echoes of each other instead.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Kanya Bomb

We'll replace Edge's blade here with Kanya's bombs that she tosses from Mecha King Bob-Omb.

Side B: Bedrock Slam

Functionally the same.

Up B: Midnite Warp

Functionally the same.

Down B: Daphne's Poison

Functionally the same.

Final Smash: Mecha King Bob-Omb

Kanya's mech will rise onto the stage and rampage around, tossing bombs everywhere before exploding itself.

Entrance: They will appear in their various methods from each boss battle.

Taunts: Up, they will float and spin like Midnite. Side, they will break into an evil laugh. Down, they will tend a Daphne vine.

Kirby Hats: Each one's respective hair.

Kart: A car based on Mecha King Bob-Omb

Special Item: Daphne's vines will sprout and entangle a nearby player.

Spirit Battle: On Darkmess Manta, all four in succession.

Victory Screen: The Hunter will laugh wickedly as Darkmess spreads.

Losing Screen: The defeat animation seen of all four will play.

Color Swaps: Midnite, Bedrock, Daphne, Kanya, Darkmess Midnite, Darkmess Bedrock, Darkmess Daphne, Darkmess Kanya.

Thanks for reading! Next up, our star has finally arrived.

Character Sheet: Poplin

POPLIN

And now, we have six brand-new characters to add in to the Mario rosters, including those from the Mario + Rabbids DLC and Super Mario Wonder. They are:

1. Elephant Mario

2. Prince Florian

3. Allegra

4. Poplin

5. Spark Hunters (split from Edge)

6. The Phantom

Now, we have the Poplins, the "Toads" of the Flower Kingdom and subjects of Prince Florian. They fill the various support roles throughout the overworld, including running the shops, breaking up obstacles and building bridges for you to progress, and so on. They also work well as the best remaining gimmick reps for the game, after Florian and Elephant Mario covered more specific aspects, so, we have stuff like the Propeller Flowers, the Bubble Flower, and the Drill Mushroom to work with too.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Bubble

They will toss forward a bubble from the Bubble Flower powerup, which will envelop a character and carry them a short way, dealing damage in the process.

Side B: Rock Break

The Poplin will attack a large rock with a pickax, damage being done by the axe and the flying chunks of rock in the process.

Up B: Propeller Flower

They will grab onto a propeller flower from the overworld, and it will carry them up into the sky and drop them off.

Down B: Drill

They will use the drill mushroom powerup to dig down into the ground, allowing them to move around under the surface for a short time.

Final Smash: Wonder Flower

They will contact a Wonder Flower, which will allow them to cause one of five effects that will mess with the stage, including Cloud Piranhas, Bulrushes, a giant Mario Spike Ball while the stage tilts, a giant bouncing Hoppo, and a giant Konk slamming down.

Entrance: They will step out of their flower houses.

Taunts: Up, they will hold up a Wonder Seed. Side, they will pull out an angling rod and fish for a minute. Down, they will place a character placeholder.

Kirby Hat: Their weird flower hats.

Kart: Based on one of their flower houses.

Special Move: They will use a propeller flower to carry themselves to a new location on the track.

Spirit Battle: A horde battle, on Flower Kingdom.

Victory Screen: They will bring out a large Wonder Seed and celebrate.

Losing Screen: They will be locked up inside of a jail cell.

Color Swaps: Their normal appearance, then a color swap matching every main Wonder Seed color from each level.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Edge and her fellow Spark Hunters will go their separate ways.

Character Sheet: Allegra

ALLEGRA

And now, we have six brand-new characters to add in to the Mario rosters, including those from the Mario + Rabbids DLC and Super Mario Wonder. They are:

1. Elephant Mario

2. Prince Florian

3. Allegra

4. Poplin

5. Spark Hunters (split from Edge)

6. The Phantom

Next up, we have Allegra, an original character from the Mario + Rabbids DLC Pack "The Last Spark Hunter." She is a warrior living in Melodic Gardens, and the friend and protector of Dorrie, who Kanya had been holding hostage. When Mario and friends help free Dorrie, the pair become an ally.

She is a capable fighter, who can jump high and perform a backflip, while using a large tuning fork as a weapon, throwing it like a spear or using it to create powerful musical blasts that she can fire from it. Her best friend Dorrie can also help out in fights by spraying water at an opponent.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Musical Blast

She will hold up her tuning fork, focus its power, and fire off a powerful sonic blast from it as a projectile.

Side B: Tuning Spear

She will chuck her spear a long distance, striking characters and throwing them back, pinning them for a short time in the process.

Up B: Aerial Flip

She will leap high up in the air, performing a backflip, and coming back down hard in a hero pose.

Down B: Dorrie

Dorrie will surface behind him, spitting a spray of water forward and dousing anyone caught by it.

Final Smash: Melodic Harmonization

She will hold up her tuning fork and start it vibrating. All around the stage, instruments from melodic gardens will start to play, creating earthquake-like vibrations that rumble through the stage.

Entrance: She will drop into a hero pose.

Taunts: Up, she will hold up her tuning fork and flick it, making it vibrate. Side, she will take up a defensive stance. Down, she will hug Dorrie's head.

Kirby Hat: Her long hair and face paint.

Kart: Based on Dorrie.

Special Move: She will be able to let off a sonic blast just like the music box.

Spirit Battle: Just her, on Darkmess Manta.

Victory Screen: She will hug Dorrie, who will play happily.

Losing Screen: Dorrie will be locked away, and she will fall to her knees.

Color Swaps: Her normal look, a more reddish look, more blue, more black, more brown and yellow, more of a forest green, more white and snowy, and an evil look based on Kanya.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Toads, but flowery!

Character Sheet: Prince Florian

PRINCE FLORIAN

And now, we have six brand-new characters to add in to the Mario rosters, including those from the Mario + Rabbids DLC and Super Mario Wonder. They are:

1. Elephant Mario

2. Prince Florian

3. Allegra

4. Poplin

5. Spark Hunters (split from Edge)

6. The Phantom

Next up, we have Prince Florian, not to be confused with Snow White's prince of the same name, a little caterpillar and prince of the Flower Kingdom, who accompanies Mario and the gang as they try to retrieve his castle and separate it from Bowser. He seems to be the main provider of the badge abilities, so we will make that our main movepool here.

First, we have several types of jumps, including the Floating High Jump, the Boosting Spin Jump, the Crouching High Jump, and the Timed High Jump. More unique moves include the parachute cap, a grappling vine, a dolphin kick for swimming, a wall jump, a safety bounce, a coin magnet, the ability to turn invisible, and spring boots. There's also the fast dash and the jet run for speed. I'm sure we can make plenty out of that.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Grappling Vine

Florian will shoot out a vine which will latch onto another player or wall and pull him toward them, like Spider-Man's web.

Side B: Jet Run

He will put on a burst of speed and shoot across the stage at high speed.

Up B: Boosting Spin Jump

We could get more complicated, and have all four depending on extra inputs and such, but I think this one works for a solo.

Down B: Safety Bounce OR Invisibility

Either one would be fun. I could see the really techy players getting a lot of good usage out of that safety bounce.

Final Smash: Bowser Castle

Bowser in Castle Form will rise behind the stage, breathing fiery piranha plants onto it and attacking with his claws.

Entrance: He will appear on the stage with a flourish.

Taunts: Up, the top of his head will burst open with confetti as he cheers. Side, he will shoot out grappling vines trying to look cool. Down, he will sniff a talking flower.

Kirby Hat: His little flower crown.

Kart: Based on a roller-skating Wiggler.

Special Move: He will shoot out a grappling vine and pull himself toward anything ahead of him.

Spirit Battle: Him, accompanied by one of the twelve players picked at random, on Flower Kingdom. (Spirits, or whatever is equivalent in this game, allowed)

Victory Screen: He will spin and hold up a large wonder seed.

Losing Screen: Dark wonder flower energy and smoke will spill across the screen, and he will look terrified.

Color Swaps: His normal green look, a red look, a green and blue look, a pink look, a yellow and orange look, a blue look, a yellow look, and a pink and red look.

Thanks for reading! Next up, a new friendly rabbid from the second DLC pack.

Wednesday, November 1, 2023

Character Sheet: Elephant Mario

ELEPHANT MARIO

And now, we have six brand-new characters to add in to the Mario rosters, including those from the Mario + Rabbids DLC and Super Mario Wonder. They are:

1. Elephant Mario

2. Prince Florian

3. Allegra

4. Poplin

5. Spark Hunters (split from Edge)

6. The Phantom

We'll start with Elephant Mario, the brand new power up that transforms Mario and his friends into elephants, a powerup that Rule 34 hasn't had so much fun with since Bowsette. The Elephant powerup made Mario and his friends incredibly heavy, gave them a trunk that flicks away opponents, allowed them to collect water and spray it out, and gave them incredibly powerful charges and butt bashes. Couple that with maybe a few game gimmicks and we have a character.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Water Spray

The elephant will fill up their trunk with one press, then spray it out with a second.

Side B: Charge

The elephant will charge forward at high speed, plowing into opponents.

Up B: Parachute Cap

One that the elephant form at least can use, the elephant will expand its cap into a parachute and rise into the air.

Down B: Butt Bash

The elephant will flip up and then bash back down with crushing weight.

Final Smash: Bulrush Stampede

The elephant will touch a Wonder Flower, which will cause a stampede of bulrushes to flood across the stage.

Entrance: The player will pick up an Elephant Fruit and transform.

Taunts: Up, the elephant will flip its trunk. Side, the elephant will bend over and let out as strong trumpet blast. Down, the elephant will drink up some water.

Kirby Hat: What Kirby would look like if he picked it up.

Kart: A Bulrush-based Kart

Special Move: The elephant will be able to use its trunk to flick away any item that comes its way.

Spirit Battle: One of all of the main seven, on Flower Kingdom.

Victory Screen: The elephant will do its "facing backwards" pose from one of the songs as Piranha Plants sing around it.

Losing Screen: The elephant will lose its power-up and revert back to the player.

Color Swaps: Elephant Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Blue Toad, Yellow Toad, Toadette, and what a Rosalina version would look like.

Thanks for reading! Next up, their faithful companion Prince Florian.
