Character Sheet: Tulin

TULIN

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

We'll start with Tulin. First appearing in Breath of the Wild as an NPC and the young son of Teba, Tulin steps up in the sequel, taking his father's place as a champion and the sage of wind, inheriting the will of the Rito sage that once served under Rauru. He does much the same as his father does, flying and firing arrows with his bow, and also has a power of his own, where he blows a strong gust of wind at Link's back, helping him to fly further than he would have normally. Overall, I'd say he works well as a semi-clone of his father.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Arrow Shot

Not quite as powerful or targeted as his fathers, it will function as a solid projectile nonetheless.

Side B: Tulin's Gust

He will blow a blast of strong wind with his wings forward, knocking anyone caught in it back.

Up B: Thermal Updraft

Same as his father's, except he will fly higher due to his lighter weight.

Down B: Sky Volley

Similar to his father's, except there will be fewer arrows, and they won't hit as hard.

Final Smash: Vow of Tulin

He will hold up his tear, which will glow, projecting his predecessor behind him, and they will fly together and deliver a devastating strike.

Entrance: He will fly in and land.

Taunts: Up, he will raise his bow and cheer. Side, he will do his best to strike an intimidating pose. Down, he will stumble and look embarrassed.

Kirby Hat: his feathers and beak, Falco-style

Kart: Based on the Stormwind Ark

Special Move: He will blow a gust behind him that blows him forward.

Spirit Battle: Himself and Teba on Great Sky Island, with strong wind.

Victory Screen: He will stand with his tear glowing and his predecessor behind him.

Losing Screen: We will see him frozen with Rito village snowed in behind him.

Color Swaps: His standard TOTK appearance, his standard BOTW appearance, a version with the blue champion sash, a version wearing his predecessor's mask, one based on Teba, one based on Revali, one based on his mom, and one based on Kass.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Mineru honors her vow.
