Character Sheet: Purah

PURAH

Now, let us go through and cover all characters now added thanks to their appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, either newcomers or old characters given more to work with, and at least one that got added through association. They are:

1. Tulin

2. Mineru

3. Purah

4. Rauru

5. Sonia

6. Zonai Construct

7. Gibdo

8. ReDead

9. Gleeok

10. Phantom Ganon

Today, we'll be changing things up. If you remember, Purah & Robbie had been its own moveset, based upon their duo appearance in Age of Calamity. Now, in that version, Robbie had been more or less the main fighter, using a pair of mechanical sawblade arms and such for his attacks, while Purah snuck around behind him, activating things with a Sheikah Slate. Considering Purah's expanded role in Tears of the Kingdom, acting now as the chief scientist helping Link and creator of the Purah Pad and several other new gameplay elements, I think it's fair to split her off to her own moveset, leaving Robbie to operate his sawblades more or less alone.

Here is the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Camera Flash

She will snap a picture with her Purah Pad, stunning anyone caught by the flash.

Side B: Robot Arms

Robotic arms like those that appear in the Skyview Towers, will emerge around an opponent, grabbing them by the arms and holding them in place for a second.

Up B: Skyview Launchpad

A launchpad like those under the Skyview Towers will appear under her feet and launch her sky high with a tether attached to her belly.

Down B: Scanner

She will hold out her Purah Pad and scan for things. The scanning beam will pull random loose items toward her for easier pickup.

Final Smash: Failed Experiment

She will trap a character in a machine that she activates, saying she has achieved immortality. After a sudden explosion, the character will appear in their "youngest/earliest" form (Mario as 8-bit), before being launched away.

Entrance: She will stumble out of a smoking lab and realize the fighters are there.

Taunts: All of her different "poses." Up, will be Breath of the Wild's cutesy two fingers on each hand thing. Side, will be the V alongside the eye from Age of Calamity. Down, she will adjust her eyewear and clasp her fan like she does in Tears of the Kingdom.

Kirby Hat: Her hair and glasses.

Kart: A vehicle based on Sheikah tech.

Special Move: She can scan upcoming item boxes and see what's inside them.

Spirit Battle: Herself on Great Sky Island.

Victory Screen: Something will explode, and she will stumble out, saying that turned out better than she thought.

Losing Screen: After a burst of smoke, she will find herself a child again.

Color Swaps: Tears version, Calamity version, Wild version, a black stealth version for all three, and then a more green rustic version for the first two.

Thanks for reading! Next up, King Rauru seals the darkness.
