VICTORY TECHNIQUES FOR METROID
We'll start with the most, well, infamous of the comics, specifically in that the author, Minazuki Yuu, clearly had no idea about the whole "Samus is a girl" twist, consistently portrayed "him" as a cocky space adventurer along the lines of James Bond, and featured a famous panel showing Samus with a scantily clad woman on each arm. Either that or the author was playing the long game and really pushing the narrative of Samus as a badass lesbian queen.
Either way, the comic isn't much more than a humorous player's guide, showing our cocky Bond-type coming up to the various challenges of the game and having to maneuver around them. He had a boss named Commander Nemo, but that's really all there is in terms of original characters, and Samus and all bosses and enemies that appear are basically the same as they appear in the game.
And that's about it! Here's what we've got so far:
Characters:
Samus
Commander Nemo
Next up, Samus's adventures as they appeared in the Nintendo Comics System!
