CHOZO GHOST
And now, we have another set of characters, this time hailing from the Prime series of games. You'd think a series like Metroid wouldn't have that many, but we're pretty close to fifty now. Our new ones include:
1. Federation Mech
2. Rundas
3. Ghor
4. Gandrayda
5. Noxus
6. Sylux
7. Spire
8. Trace
9. Kanden
10. Weavel
11. U-Mos
12. Aurora Unit
13. Dark Samus
14. Meta Ridley
15. Metroid Prime
16. Emperor Ing
17. Gorea
18. Chozo Ghost
19. Mechanoid
20. Ing
21. Liquid Phazon
22. Quad
23. Phazon Elite
24. Berserker Lord
25. Labor Golem
And now for, in my opinion, the coolest enemy type in the entire Metroid franchise, which I actually hadn't been planning to add to the roster until just recently because they only just barely reach the line, and now I have to think of a new assist trophy to fill their slot. Chozo Ghosts were transcended Chozo who ended up trapped in a state of limbo after the Phazon meteor struck their planet and were eventually driven mad by the Phazon's influence.
The most prominent aspect of these enemies is the ability to turn invisible, forcing Samus to have to switch to different visors if she wants to fight them. They can also dash forward at high speeds, shoot energy attacks at her, and float in midair. Again, they just barely make the line, but at least it's there, so . . .
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Spectral Blast
Their basic projectile move that they use against Samus.
Side B: Spectral Dash
They will race forward at high speed, slashing at their opponent as they do so.
Up B: Levitation
The ghost will take up a meditation stance and rise into the air for a second.
Down B: Plane Shift
Pressing this will allow the Ghost to shift between visible and invisible at will. All other moves are still usable in either form.
Final Smash: Impact Crater Gateway
Several ghosts will appear in a circle, sealing the gateway over the stage and players in reverse of when they unlock the way for Samus in the final act.
Entrance: They will flash into existence with their signature scream.
Taunts: Up, it will float and meditate for a second. Side, it will flash between visible and invisible for a second (works as a good way to remind yourself where you are without switching back to visible). Down, it will skate side to side and screech for a second.
Kirby Hat: Kirby will look like one of them, all pale and clear and stuff.
Kart: Based on the Chozo Artifacts.
Special Move: Naturally, they can turn invisible.
Spirit Battle: A three-on-one battle on Frigate Orpheon, with all opponents invisible.
Victory Screen: They will open the way to the Impact Crater.
Losing Screen: Their death animation with occur.
Color Swaps: The normal white, a red, green, blue, pink, yellow, gray, and black color scheme.
Thanks for reading! Next up, a possible combination of multiple enemy types heavily connected to Ghor.
