THE FLAB BOYS

Now, we have finished the television series, and we have SO many characters to cover, from all across the spectrum. There are a few characters here and there that might get a few upgrades to their movesets, mostly being the Donkey Kong cast (one example, I think Klump should absolutely have a Klaptrap gun now). Today, let's cover the Flab Boys from the episode "Bad Rap." The boys are a pair of brothers and residents of Rap Land. When King Koopa takes over the land using a hypnotic rap track and takes the land's king hostage, the Flab Boys manage to escape his control by wearing headphones. They then recruit Mario and Luigi to help them rescue their home and king. Across the episode, we see them perform a number of, um, rap-based moves such as throwing records like frisbees, using tech to electrocute people, blasting loud music, and firing a launcher with exploding records. They also use their large round bodies to roll around like bowling balls, bounce on their bellies, and give each other a boost. I imagine you'd control one, but the other would appear to help with moves and as color swaps.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Exploding Discs

The boy you're controlling will pull out the launcher he and his brother use in the episode and fire off a record that will explode on impact.

Side B: Bowling Ball

The boy you control will jump into the air and roll up into a ball, spinning rapidly and plowing across the stage, taking out anyone he comes across.

Up B: Bouncing Boost

His brother will appear and give him a boost, launching him into the air. He will be very bouncy when he lands and bounce back into the air again, rebounding any players it connects with.

Down B: Electrocution

The boy will fiddle with some of their tech, causing it to short. Anyone who contacts the equipment shortly thereafter will find themselves electrocuted by it.

Final Smash: Hypno Concert

They will make use of King Koopa's main threat in the episode. The two brothers will appear on stage and perform a concert, activating Koopa's hypnotism effect and placing everyone on stage under their control.

Entrance: The brothers will DJ for a second before stepping out from behind the table.

Taunts: Up, the brothers will bash their bellies together. Side, the boy will listen to some music in his headphones and bop to it a bit. Down, a DJ table will appear and the boy will work it for a second.

Thanks for reading! Next up is James Blonde. Three guesses who he's a parody of.
