Character Sheet: Trace

TRACE

And now, we have another set of characters, this time hailing from the Prime series of games. You'd think a series like Metroid wouldn't have that many, but we're pretty close to fifty now. Our new ones include:

1. Federation Mech

2. Rundas

3. Ghor

4. Gandrayda

5. Noxus

6. Sylux

7. Spire

8. Trace

9. Kanden

10. Weavel

11. U-Mos

12. Aurora Unit

13. Dark Samus

14. Meta Ridley

15. Metroid Prime

16. Emperor Ing

17. Gorea

18. Chozo Ghost

19. Mechanoid

20. Ing

21. Liquid Phazon

22. Quad

23. Phazon Elite

24. Berserker Lord

25. Labor Golem

Next up, we have probably the most blatantly evil of the six rivals: Trace. Trace comes from a planet of invaders, undergoing a coming-of-age ritual that involves him finding a new planet for his people to attack and conquer. He begins seeking the ultimate power basically because it will be just as good as a new planet.

Trace is the sniper of the group, and wields a sniper-rifle-style weapon called the Imperialist. He can transform into a three-legged form called the Triskelion. While in this form, he can jump and strike, and while immobile, he can turn himself invisible.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Imperialist

He will fire his weapon, which will have a longer range than most of his rivals.

Side B: Triskelion

He will transform into his Triskelion form and skitter forward at high speeds.

Up B: Jump Strike

He will leap into the air and slice forward, doing damage while gaining some air.

Down B: Cloak

He will turn invisible. This cloak will only last as long as he is not moving.

Final Smash: Kriken Invasion

He will summon in his people's fleet, deeming the stage as his chosen planet for them to invade. Krikens like him will descend onto the stage and start attacking everything in sight. (Also, side note: before my Invader Zim jokes were mostly just jokes, but now I notice Kriken is very similar to Zim's species Irken, and I have to assume it is very much an intended reference).

Entrance: He will start the battle with the Hunters' starting animation.

Taunts: Up, he will raise an arm into the air as if to proclaim glory to the Kriken Empire. Side, he will look around and slink backwards a little. Down, he will crouch as if getting ready to snipe. (None of these will be voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz, but it would be funny if they were).

Kirby Hat: His little spiky head thing.

Kart: Based on the Triskelion.

Special Move: He will be able to turn invisible for a short time.

Spirit Battle: On Celestial Archives.

Victory Screen: His victory pose from Hunters.

Losing Screen: His defeat animation from Hunters.

Color Swaps: His normal colors, a green color, a blue color, a magenta color, a black fiery color, a gold color, a silver color, a green-headed and purple-bodied color.

Thanks for reading! Next up, a science experiment gone wrong.
