SYLUX
And now, we have another set of characters, this time hailing from the Prime series of games. You'd think a series like Metroid wouldn't have that many, but we're pretty close to fifty now. Our new ones include:

9. Kanden
10. Weavel
11. U-Mos
12. Aurora Unit
13. Dark Samus
14. Meta Ridley
15. Metroid Prime
16. Emperor Ing
17. Gorea
18. Chozo Ghost
19. Mechanoid

Today, let's cover the most popular of the six rival hunters from Metroid Prime Hunters, Sylux. Sylux is the wild card of the group, with little being known about him except that he hates the Federation and is seeking to overthrow them. Why? No one yet knows. He has since appeared in Federation Force, stealing a Metroid from the Federation in the background of one mission, and his ship appeared to pursue Samus at the end of Corruption, both suggesting that he is the villain of Metroid Prime 4.
Sylux is the Electric-type Pokemon of the ground, wielding a weapon called the Shock Coil as a projectile weapon, and leaving electric bombs and tripwires all over the place as traps for Samus. He can also transform into a little box with an electric orb inside of it called the Lockjaw as his "Morph Ball" transformation. Another unique aspect of the character is his ship, the Delano 7, which he can call in to perform an airstrike on the fight below.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Shock Coil
He will use his weapon to fire an electric blast at his opponents.
Side B: Lockjaw
He will transform into the Lockjaw and drive around for a little while at much higher speed.
Up B: Delano Takeoff
His ship will appear beneath him and carry him up for a little while.
Down B: Electric Bomb
He will roll electric bombs along the ground that will explode and stun anyone caught in their vicinity. His tripwire could work here too.
Final Smash: Delano 7
He will call in his ship that will hover above the stage and fire its cannons down onto the fighters below.
Entrance: He will start the battle with the Hunters' starting animation.
Taunts: Up, he will hold up a Federation helmet and crush it. Side, he will hold out his shock coil as electricity crackles along it. Down, he will clutch a containment unit holding a Metroid for a second and look around.
Kirby Hat: His helmet.
Kart: Based on the Lockjaw.
Special Move: He can call in his ship to bombard the stage.
Spirit Battle: On Celestial Archives, with an electrified floor.
Victory Screen: His victory pose from Hunters.
Losing Screen: His defeat animation from Hunters.
Color Swaps: His normal colors, one with red lights, one with blue lights, one with yellow lights, a black skin with white lights, a black skin with gold lights, a silver skin, a gold skin.
Thanks for reading! Next up, the most/second most genuinely heroic of the six rivals.
