Character Sheet: Spire

SPIRE

And now, we have another set of characters, this time hailing from the Prime series of games. You'd think a series like Metroid wouldn't have that many, but we're pretty close to fifty now. Our new ones include:

1. Federation Mech

2. Rundas

3. Ghor

4. Gandrayda

5. Noxus

6. Sylux

7. Spire

8. Trace

9. Kanden

10. Weavel

11. U-Mos

12. Aurora Unit

13. Dark Samus

14. Meta Ridley

15. Metroid Prime

16. Emperor Ing

17. Gorea

18. Chozo Ghost

19. Mechanoid

20. Ing

21. Liquid Phazon

22. Quad

23. Phazon Elite

24. Berserker Lord

25. Labor Golem

Next up, we have Spire, a big rock/lava golem creature who is the last of his kind and is seeking the Ultimate Power in order to learn what happened to them all. So, right up there with Noxus on the good end of the alignment chart (unless he then uses it to seek revenge on those responsible, I suppose, but then, it would be against someone responsible for a genocide, so . . .).

As the Rock/Fire-type in the group, his weapon is the Magmaul, which fires molten lava at his opponents, while his transformation is called the Dialanche, a giant boulder that rolls around Goron-style. He can also pummel his opponents with his big volcanic arms, and create shockwaves on the ground.

Here's the moveset I came up with:

Standard B: Magmaul

He will fire a blast of lava forward, dealing heavy burn damage on his opponents.

Side B: Dialanche

He will curl up into his boulder form and roll around the stage, the way a Goron or Yoshi's Egg would.

Up B: Shockwave

He will jump up into the air and pound the ground, letting off a powerful shockwave around him.

Down B: Pummel

He will pull back his powerful arms and start pummeling anyone directly in front of him.

Final Smash: Volcanic Eruption

He will curl into the Dialanche, raise into the air and pound the ground, causing a volcanic plume to burst from the stage, dealing heavy burn damage to everyone.

Entrance: He will start the battle with the Hunters' starting animation.

Taunts: Up, he will raise his fist into the air in victory. Side, he will grasp his weapon and look thoughtful and lonely. Down, he will curl into the Dialanche and just sit there for a second.

Kirby Hat: His lava spikes.

Kart: Based on the Dialanche.

Special Move: He will transform into the Dialanche and go rolling across the stage.

Spirit Battle: On Celestial Archives, with a lava floor.

Victory Screen: His victory pose from Hunters.

Losing Screen: His defeat animation from Hunters.

Color Swaps: His normal colors, a bluish color, a yellow color, a green color, a black coal-like color, a purple color, a metallic silvery color, a white-and-black color.

Thanks for reading! Next up, Invader Zim's coming early this year.
