EMPEROR ING
And now, we have another set of characters, this time hailing from the Prime series of games. You'd think a series like Metroid wouldn't have that many, but we're pretty close to fifty now. Our new ones include:
1. Federation Mech
2. Rundas
3. Ghor
4. Gandrayda
5. Noxus
6. Sylux
7. Spire
8. Trace
9. Kanden
10. Weavel
11. U-Mos
12. Aurora Unit
13. Dark Samus
14. Meta Ridley
15. Metroid Prime
16. Emperor Ing
17. Gorea
18. Chozo Ghost
19. Mechanoid
20. Ing
21. Liquid Phazon
22. Quad
23. Phazon Elite
24. Berserker Lord
25. Labor Golem
Today, let's cover Emperor Ing, the leader of the Ing, the beings that inhabit Dark Aether who are at constant war with the Luminoth. Dark Samus forged an alliance with this race, bringing her to her first ever true standoff with Samus herself.
During Samus's final battle with this creature, the emperor could use its tentacles to lash at her, jump into the air really high, and use light and darkness in its attacks, including light beams and darkness waves, as well as blasts and orbs.
Here's the moveset I came up with:
Standard B: Light Beam
One move for light, one move for dark. The Light Beam will go here, and it will blast a beam of light as a projectile at its opponent.
Side B: Tentacle Whip
It will lash out with its tentacle and strike opponents with it.
Up B: Leap
It will leap high into the air and come back down hard.
Down B: Dark Wave
Here is the move for darkness. It will slash and send a wave of darkness forward across the stage.
Final Smash: Dark Aether
Dark Aether will spread across the stage, smothering all light and choking all fighters with its toxic atmosphere.
Entrance: It will emerge from a Dark Aether portal.
Taunts: Up, it will swing around its head tentacle. Side, it will skitter back and forth, looking around. Down, it will let off a burst of darkness around itself.
Kirby Hat: Its head tentacle.
Kart: Based on a Dark Splinter.
Special Move: It will create a cloud of Dark Aether that will blind opponents and choke them out with its atmosphere.
Spirit Battle: A giant battle on Planet Aether (stuck on the Dark version)
Victory Screen: We will see a wide shot of the Planet Aether becoming full darkness.
Losing Screen: It will collapse in its death animation as all darkness disappears.
Color Swaps: Its normal colors, a dark red color, a dark blue color, a dark green color, a purple color, a black-and-gold color, a black-and-white color, and a Light Aether-version of it.
Thanks for reading! Next up, we cover the last of our "main bosses."
