WATER TEMPLE
Although temples come in numerous different varieties throughout the series with tons of different themes, most of them are already well-represented by the stages not necessarily representing temples. The one type of temple so notorious for their frustrating spikes in difficulty that they warrant representation apart from their connected biomes is the infamous water temples.
There are hundreds of different water temples in the series, including the Water Temple of Ocarina of Time, the Great Bay Temple of Majora’s Mask, and the Ancient Cistern of Skyward Sword. Water Temple or Ancient Cistern are my faves to act as representatives, but honestly a stage featuring elements of all, with all of their moving parts and changing water levels, would work best.
