CLUB NINTENDO

Today, let's cover Club Nintendo, Nintendo's official bi-monthly magazine published in Germany from 1989 to 2000. Published in these magazines were comics featuring Mario characters and other Nintendo characters, sometimes in crossover events. Most especially, Mario tended to form a trio with Link and Kirby often, working together with them to fight Bowser or Ganon or other major Nintendo villains. Club Nintendo's comics were replaced by N-Gang, featuring a bunch of normal human teenagers with the Nintendo characters simply making cameos here and there. The magazine was effectively cancelled after Nintendo of Europe's redeployment in 2001.
