SUPER MARIO BROS. GOLDEN BOOKS
Today, let's go over a trilogy of children's books published by Western Publishing as part of their Golden Look Look Books (you know, the ones with the gold-trimmed spines that I'm pretty sure everyone I know had at least one of as a kid). These included Super Mario Bros.: Trapped in the Perilous Pit, Super Mario Bros. 3: The Secret Bridge, and Super Mario Bros. 3: Happy Birthday, Princess Toadstool! These books were written by Jack C. Harris and illustrated by Art and Kim Ellis. These books were released in 1989 and 1990, and mirrored the Super Show!'s art style. Also, the show's original cast of Lou Albano, Danny Wells, Jeannie Elias, and John Stocker did an official dub of Trapped in the Perilous Pit, and Charles Martinet did another one years later. I'm pretty sure you can find both on YouTube.
