On her way to escape from an explosion, Samus finds herself attacked by an old enemy, a Space Pirate grievously wounded on her first adventure, rebuilt as a cyborg.

This is Weavel, who has sworn eternal vengeance against Samus for her destruction of his body. He seeks the ultimate power for the glory of the Space Pirates.

Like his counterparts, Weavel will differ in stats from Samus in the same ways he already does, notably with higher defenses and projectiles. His moveset will pull from his moves shown in game.
