AURORA UNIT
Once all four hunters are brought together, they are debriefed on the plan by a large brain-like structure, an AI designed by the Federation to spearhead complex military operations.
These are the Aurora Units, filling the role of tutorial and exposition for Samus throughout the game. Toward the end, Samus would even find that one of the Aurora Units ended up corrupted by Phazon as well, and would have to fight and destroy it.
As a fighter, the Aurora Unit would pull most of its moveset from the corrupted unit fought at the end of the game. It would be floaty, but distinctly powerful in most of its attacks.
Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.
