The hunters and the troops fight long and hard, but finally, the pirates are defeated and Meta Ridley falls into a deep hole, hopefully to his death. Samus and her friends stand triumphantly, only for Dark Samus to appear and attack them all with Phazon. When Samus awakens, she learns that she had been heavily infected with the stuff but she had pulled through. Her companions had all recovered before her and gone on to various assignments but had never been heard back from. Samus travels back to Norion, finding that Rundas has been driven mad by the Phazon and frozen the entire base, and she is forced to put him down. She then tracks Ghor to the planet Bryyo, where he has taken control of the machines left behind by the planet’s ancient people.

These machines come with many names, but the most prominent of them are the Steambots, robots running on steam power. These act as the primary enemies throughout this world.

As fighters, the Steambots will pull from all forms of Bryyonian technology, including the Steamlords that control them. Their moveset will pull from all robots seen.

Likelihood rating: Never gonna happen.
